Next time we went elsewh This is our family's third purchase from Mohawk Honda. The first was a new Fit we helped our daughter buy from Brian McKenna. Next time we went elsewhere because Mohawk wouldn't come near a local competitor's price for a 2012 Civic for us. Next up was a 2013 Accord, and they did meet and beat a local competitor's price on first visit, so we bought from a rep who's no longer there. This time, on 2018 Accord pricing, we shopped there while our old Accord was in their service department for a quick mfr-recall visit, and we test-drove with Linda. She was very friendly and helpful. First we shopped for an Accord, but in the end we decided on getting the hybrid version. Getting a competitive price out of Mohawk is a bit like pulling teeth, though. But we figure, if a dentist can do it, why can't we? We pull and we tug a bit, check with other dealers, go around and around, back and forth; sometimes they'll come down and sometimes they won't (like on the 2012 Civic, above). In the end, we got a competitive deal and were happy. I can't rate them down for this, because most dealers require the same song-and-dance. We picked up the car today and had a great experience. Breana spent a lot of time with us, showing us how everything works in the car and setting up our phones for us. Linda managed everything flawlessly. Mike breezed us through the paperwork and we were done. More
