I wasn't a fan of the high pressure sales tactics related to the upselling of additional services and warranty plans. Though we conflicted around the sales issue, I am appreciative of the oil change service plan and his efforts in pursing options for a lower interest rate, which will save me around $700 over the life of the loan. Patient during my VW recall process I had a 2014 Jetta TDI that was part of the court mandated recall. Not knowing how long it would take, and being super anxious about the whole process I had a 2014 Jetta TDI that was part of the court mandated recall. Not knowing how long it would take, and being super anxious about the whole process, I had shopped around and test drove at least 6-10 different vehicles. When I got to Mohawk; I explained my situation and my budgetary needs. They immediately steered me (no pun intended) to the CRV. We were introduced to a new salesman; Zachary Esposito. Zach was great. Especially after I had put down a deposit and THEN realized the process would take up to 6 more weeks to complete my recall! Instead of telling me to come back later (which is what I expected) he called me at least once a week to check in; assuring me each time that my original offer for the CRV would be honored when I was ready. Needless to say; when the time came, I felt like Zach was a friend. He had even called to wish me Happy Thanksgiving! Not only was my CRV ready; it was exactly the same as the one I wanted 6 weeks earlier. Color and everything. Just like Zach promised. Jay managed to get us a great price on rubber mats and a cargo mat; my Christmas presents from my husband, that worked out well. And Junior walked us through the car one thing at a time; answering all of my questions. Very polite and professional young man. Even the business manager, who stepped in to meet w us as the other staff were busy, was kind, professional and in no way pushy. Thank you, Mohawk Honda, for a great experience; your patience throughout a long and stressful recall process; and my awesome dark red, heated seats and sunroof having CRV!! The salesperson also held onto the keys while we went to another dealership to look at a similar car before making a decision to purchase.
