My intention was to trade in my Impreza for a new Crosstrek. Turned out the Impreza needed work (under warranty) before I could do the trade. As others have indicated, my experience with Mike the service manager was very troubling. He was incredibly inappropriate and unprofessional to me in front of people at the dealership. This matter is being reviewed by Subaru and, as expected, they are taking it very seriously. I have to assume that there are some good folks who work there, but my call to report the matter to Kort Iserman, the GM, was not returned. I also reported the matter to Morrie’s HR, and never heard back. During Subaru’s investigation of the incident, the dealership provided an explanation for Mike’s conduct that was not factual, though I will refrain from discussing those details at this time. Subaru is on top of things so I’m confident it’ll get sorted out. I obviously won’t be back to this dealership. That being said, I feel great about how seriously Subaru is taking this matter, and another major Subaru dealership was thrilled to have my business. My experience with Subaru has been truly excellent over many years, so this dealer-specific issue in no way changes my belief that Subaru is a solid company. I’ve had great experiences at the other Subaru dealerships in town so I’d happily recommend any of them over Morrie’s Minnetonka Subaru. If Morrie’s would like to respond publicly, I would welcome that. If any factual inaccuracies appear in their response, I will update this review with additional information. Should the dealership acknowledge what occurred and offer an apology for Mike’s inappropriate behavior I will consider removing this review. More
Chris the sales, was great. Loved his energy and knowledge on the Honda Ridgeline we purchased. Kort, the GM reached out to us due to some complications with the deal we had but it all worked out in the end. Chris the finance, the finance process is always long. Long story short, communication with Chris about our warranty cancellation was basically almost nonexistent. It was a lot of back and forth and a lot of waiting. Unfortunately, we had to go in physically to speak with Kort the GM to get the process done. We were very disappointed on how this situation was handle. At the end of the day, we are customers of Morrie's and at the end of the day, you are also customers else where. Regardless of the downfall with communication and disappointments, the process was taken care of. Overall, Chris the sales and Kort the GM were very helpful with everything. More
