We recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership, we live about 3 hours away from them & were told we could complete the process via expedited mai We recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership, we live about 3 hours away from them & were told we could complete the process via expedited mail. We were on a time constraint and we were told all paperwork would be overnighted to us in order to meet our timing needs, this did not happen (despite confirming with them, they had sent it via overnight delivery). After waiting all day on the paperwork to arrive, we contacted them and we were then told it was not sent overnight, meaning we had waiting for nothing. Due to them not following through with their promises, we had to make the three hour drive to the dealership to complete the process and then make the three hour drive back home within the same night. Our salesman, Steve was great, as well as Patrick, both of which tried to make it right. However, Cody and the “finance guy”, not so much. I would not recommend working with them, as they seem to not care if the deal goes through or not. They could have and should have lost a sale over this, but that did not seem to be their problem. PS. The paperwork that was said to be overnighted, never arrived. More

A complete disappointment I was pre-approved through my credit union and was happy with the price of the car so there wasn't any haggling on my end. I inquired about applying a ceramic coating to the vehicle because I was flying in from Minnesota to drive the car back and wanted to protect my new car. The great folks at Nelson were happy to charge me $400 to outsource the service to a local shop. Upon arriving to the dealership, my heart sank. The car was filthy. Inside and out. Even without the coating the car wasn't presentable, not by any sense of the word. It only went downhill from there. I opted for an extended warranty through my credit union as Nelson wanted nearly $3000 for what was offered to me for $1500. And I had to used it immediately. Nearly a $1000 in repairs within the first week of owning the car. If this was a local deal I would of walked away but being that I was 800 miles from home, in town on a 1 way ticket, I just wanted to put the experience and Nelson Mazda as far away in the rear view as possible. I don't believe I was an exception to the norm, and there's no excuse for how I was treated by those handling my sale. More

He bent over backwards to offer me a fair price even though I’d already purchased another car from another dealer. He made my comfortable, and feel very welcome.
