★☆☆☆☆ — Dishonest Dealership That Misleads Customers I purchased a used 2022 BMW M550i from Niello BMW Sacramento in April 2025. I live in Texas and specially flew to Sacramento to buy this car, trusting purchased a used 2022 BMW M550i from Niello BMW Sacramento in April 2025. I live in Texas and specially flew to Sacramento to buy this car, trusting their reputation as an official BMW dealership and their assurances and the CARFAX report that stated “No Accidents Reported.” My salesperson, Steve Tracy, confidently told me the car had never been in any accident or repaint. My salesperson, Steve Tracy, confidently assured me multiple times that the vehicle had never been in any accident or repaint. As a naive customer, I believed everything they said. I trusted the BMW brand and assumed a certified dealership would be transparent and honest. Months later, during a routine service at BMW dealership in TX, I was shocked when their certified technicians confirmed that the entire passenger side of the car had been repainted, and there was clear-coat overspray on the driver’s-side A-pillar — clear signs of prior repair work. I immediately reached out to Steve Tracy via email, attaching photos and videos as proof. He never responded. No one from Niello BMW ever contacted me or took any responsibility. Earlier, when I asked why the car wasn’t sold as Certified Pre-Owned, they told me it “does not qualify due to cost.” Now I realize it likely didn’t qualify because of this undisclosed repaint. Feeling deceived, I escalated the matter to BMW of North America – Customer Relations & Executive Escalation. When BMW NA reached out to Niello BMW, the dealership flatly denied any knowledge of the paintwork, claiming they “were not aware of any such repair.” That response was sadly expected, as they clearly wanted to avoid accountability. I find it impossible to believe they were unaware — dealerships like Niello BMW conduct detailed multi-point inspections before selling their vehicles. It’s hard to accept that they missed a full-side repaint with visible overspray unless they chose to ignore it. This experience has left me heartbroken, frustrated, and deeply disappointed in both Niello BMW and the BMW brand. I was sold a misrepresented vehicle, ignored when I presented evidence, and dismissed when I sought help. If you are considering buying a used car from Niello BMW, do not trust their word, their inspection, or their CARFAX report. Always get an independent inspection before you make a purchase. Their lack of honesty, transparency, and accountability has completely destroyed my trust in this dealership. More
