Never once did he make me feel pressured to just finance any old car, but finance the right car for me. I appreciate him going above and beyond for me. I’m not currently recommending this dealership for sales or service. They asked me to trade in my car; it was a great equinox with low mileage and a full dealer service record. My husband and I agreed, or service. They asked me to trade in my car; it was a great equinox with low mileage and a full dealer service record. My husband and I agreed, and we shopped a bit and went with a new Trax. I’ve had nothing but problems since then. The sales department took 5 weeks to finalize our sale - we had to go back to renegotiate because my trade in’s loan had a payment come up, plus the two week payoff amount expired. That shouldn’t have ever happened. They also didn’t ask for enough paperwork so twice we had to scan and email new documents to them to finalize it all. But then the icing on the cake? I had to have a service appointment within 5 weeks of purchase. A recall was present AT THE TIME OF SALE, which is inexcusable. Additionally, my heat was ice cold, and my rear wiper wasn’t engaging in certain gears. It took them SEVENTEEN (17) days to decide they were done fixing these things; and at that, most was supposedly spent on the wiper assembly. After 17 days, during which I was told their Master Mechanic with 30 years experience was focusing solely on my vehicle every working day, they finally decided to tell me this wiper is a planned feature. They couldn’t refer to any portion in the manual telling me it is. They just couldn’t find anything wrong so they assumed it’s supposed to work that way. (By the way, after that phone call, I found the manual page it’s on. Why can’t the dealer do that???) They called to tell me my car is ready for pickup, the recall was complete and the heater fixed. An hour later, prior to me picking up the vehicle, the parts department called. My parts for the recall came in and they wanted me to bring my car back. Wait. What? The service advisor just told me the recall was done. Which is it? I’m still waiting to find out, FOUR DAYS LATER. The RO tells me it’s done, but the RO also tells me that the heater functions. However, that’s a flaming lie. It still shoots out ice cold air. Now, when I leave work at 2am, I have to put gloves on to drive my brand new Trax, because the air is so cold that I can lose feeling in my finger tips. Sounds safe, huh? I can’t just keep it off, because the windows fog up. Would have been nice to have been sold a functional car. I sure do miss my trade in. She ran beautifully. Lesson learned. Don’t trust this dealership. They can’t do anything right the first time. More
