Car shopping can be very stressful- I heard it ranks up there with buying a new home. This was not the case, however, with Lore & Tom Simons. They made the whole car-buying experience a pleasant, helpful, and friendly one. We initially were interested in either a Honda CR-V or the Pilot, both in 4-wheel drive. AAA referred us to Tom & Lore. We visited them twice at Norm Reeves. The first time we received the prices and specifications for each vehicle, and the second time, we test drove. The dealership had the Pilot in a 4-wheel drive, but its color was silver, a color we did not want. So we decided to just think about it. Even though we did not initially buy from them, we never felt like Tom & Lore "blew us off" because we did not buy. They were always kind and helpful. We went to other dealers, looking for our desired specifications in those particular Honda models. We even considered other car makers (e.g., Toyota, Nissan), and we were appalled with the tactics and manners of other sales people at the other dealerships. But not so with Norm Reeves Honda (Cerritos), its staff, and the fleet managers, Tom & Lore Simons. We felt welcomed by everyone there, and people were so helpful. Because of the kind, patient assistance Tom & Lore provided, we returned to Norm Reeves and bought a 2012 Honda Pilot through them. We would definitely recommend Tom & Lore to anyone who wants to buy a car. More

I chose this dealer due to the several +ve reviews i had read about this place. I fell in the hands of the right sales representative and was never pressurized to make a decision in a rush. I was allowed to choose the car i wanted at my pace and there was no sign of irritation on the face of Mr. Kave who very pleasantly attended to all my request which included several test drives, price quotes, and in the end i got a brilliant deal on a certified used Honda accord 2008. I have been to several dealers before and all of them tried to just sell their cars (which they are supposed to do), but what was so amazing about this place was that i was not forced into making a decision instantly. There were no scare tactics applied here it was just pure salesmanship in good spirit. I really appreciate the help i received from Mr. Kave and if ever i would buy a Honda again (i surely will) it would be from NORM REEVES. More

He got his 2008 Accord sedan he wanted at the price he wanted, all with no-nonsense quotes through email and professionalism when he went to the lot. He told me that it must be that they're going for volume instead of huge margins on individual cars. I graduated from college in June, so it was time for me to get a car. After months of research and test driving cars of different brands, I found the car that spoke to me (and my wallet): this year's accord coupe. That made my dad happy because he had already seen on the website that Linda Ly was still on the internet staff. He contacted her, and she quoted a price a little below what I had been expecting to pay. Those graphs you see online that claim to show the lowest price? Forget it. NRH (or maybe just Linda) will beat that -- and without you even saying the price you are shooting for. That means no haggling, no pressure, and no feeling afterward that you just got screwed (because you didn't). There was one problem: They (and all other dealerships in socal) didn't have the color I wanted in stock. So they offered to special order it AND KEEP THE QUOTED PRICE. I didn't need the car right away, so that was a no-brainer. Luckily for me, the exact car I wanted came in an earlier shipment, so instead of waiting three months, I got it three weeks later. They called as they were taking it off the truck on Friday. I went in yesterday to pick it up. Then I got the Linda Ly experience my dad had been raving about. Everything was smooth. She had made sure the car had been put aside and led me to it without delay. After the test drive, I went straight to her desk, and she helped me through the initial paperwork, and instead of saying the standard, "I would like you to meet the sales manager," she asked if it was all right if a new guy observed what was going on. If Linda-caliber quality is the standard NHR has set, they're gonna be around for a long time. Plain and simple: Norm Reeves Honda is THE place to buy a car if you're looking for a straightforward transaction, and Linda Ly is the greatest. More
