My car has 36,000 miles. I took my car in for inspection and oil change. After the inspection they tried to up sell me on services that I believe are not necessary on a vehicle with low miles. Really! New b More

Good Morning Mr. Lawson, I first want to apologize that you feel we were trying to sell you on services not needed. We do recommend the brake fluid be changed every 24 months or 24,000 miles to ensure that the fluid is in good condition. Like oil, brake fluid loses its effectiveness over time. The fluid can absorb moisture, which can lead to corrosion in your hydraulics system and other problems that make your brakes less effective, decreasing your ability to stop in critical driving situations. The technician was recommending this service in conjunction with the replacement of the rear brake pads that he found low during the state inspection.
