When I bought the new Cadillac the sales guy told me bring it back in at about 1800 miles and as soon as you walk into the service center and you show this green slip of paper they will be on you like y bring it back in at about 1800 miles and as soon as you walk into the service center and you show this green slip of paper they will be on you like you won’t believe. They will immediately inspect your car make sure that all the fluid levels are topped off and the tire pressures are OK in and then wash it and you’ll be on your way. My experience was: I walked into the service managers room with four service managers sitting behind their computers not one other customer in the room, with the green piece of paper nobody looked up from their computers. I actually paced in front of the four managers two or three round trips the length of the room before one of them finally looked up and said I’ll be right with you sir. When he was done doing what he was doing he asked me how he could help me and I said I have this green slip of paper here I suppose I’m supposed to get my car looked at real quick here. He then went out to my car looked through the diagnostic tabs which is something I could’ve done never pop the hood and then he looked at me and he said do you want a car wash? And I said sure I want a car wash so with that I went and I sat in the customer lounge and I waited approximately 15 minutes while my car sat there in the middle of the service center floor no one touched it finally my car gets driven away to the car wash. I waited and waited and waited and waited no sign of my car then I said to myself well maybe they parked out front so I walked out front and there it was. wet, nobody bothered to dry it off walked up to the car and no one ran a vacuum inside of it nobody wiped the fingerprints off of the touchscreen which now looks like a crime scene. And I finally walked back inside to the service manager to retrieve my keys and he handed me a slip of paper with everything, along with my keys and I walked out of there. one hour it took me. one hour to do something that I could’ve done half of it home and I certainly would’ve been happier with a car wash anywhere else . One hour! More
I was very please with the whole car buying process. I never felt pressured into a vehicle or price I wasn't comfortable with. Larry was very informative and friendly. In the craziness of setting up onstar and the final paperwork I didn't think to ask until I got home(after closing on a Saturday).
