This really happened. I brought a 2010 Dodge Charger with a 5.7L HEMI in to have a P0303 and P2308 code diagnosed. It is misfiring on the third cylinder in the firing order, #4. I advised the service with a 5.7L HEMI in to have a P0303 and P2308 code diagnosed. It is misfiring on the third cylinder in the firing order, #4. I advised the service advisor Roberto that I had run a compression test and each cylinder had compression. I advised him that there was an exhaust leak having seen fumes coming from the exhaust manifold, and causing an intermittent tick that got better as the car warmed up, and that I had checked each spark plug and swapped coils around. I wanted them to figure out why it was misfiring and effect repairs if it were as I suspected in the valve train or possibly an exhaust valve stuck closed. I received a call from Roberto that his tech said there was zero compression in cylinder #3, which isn't misfiring. I told him that can't be right, and he invited me to view the test, which I eagerly agreed to do. I brought my compression gauge as well. When I got to the shop, the car was brought in, The tech attached his gauge, started, the needle bounced up, and settled back down to zero. That's not supposed to happen. I told him, try #1. He did, same result. I then hooked up meh gauge to the same cylinder he just said had no compression, and lo and behold, 180 PSI of compression. He stated it was a new gauge he just bought. Yeah...not really willing to buy that one. First, a valid compression test involves testing every cylinder, with all plugs removed, and recording pressure in each cylinder. That wasn't done. Had it been done, and it was an hones mistake, he would realize he had a faulty instrument, and would have done the test with a good one. Three things are needed for ignition, compression, which we have at least in #3, fuel, and spark. Despite having had his compression test invalidated, and doing no other diagnostic, he continued that I needed a whole long block replacement at $10,000+. It was time to close this thing down and take my vehicle back. A waste of my time. More

I came here in Jan to get an oil change and a mid point inspection. I was told my vehicle was in good running condition. I came in yesterday because I thought my car was leaking anti freeze. After waiting inspection. I was told my vehicle was in good running condition. I came in yesterday because I thought my car was leaking anti freeze. After waiting for several hours I was told I needed $3700 worth of work done. I was beyond confused how I can need so much work done a month after I was told my car was in great running condition. It feels like they were trying to upsell me especially since I took the care elsewhere for a 2nd opinion and got totally different feedback. My first experience coming here was amazing but this second visit had me second guessing if I will ever return to this location. More
