Nobody Claimed Responsibility for Water Leak/Flood I thought I was going to have the joy of a first car experience with my 17 year old daughter. The salesperson, David, seemed trustworthy and honest to my daughter and myself. I also know the owners of the dealership from charitable events. We decided on a used 2019 Nissan Altima that according to CarFax had minor damage repaired by the Pete Moore Body Shop. I was so trusting that I didnt lift the carpet in the trunk or check the integrity of the trunk and molding from the repairs. My daughter initially was so excited. When I went with my daughter to her moms house (I am divorced), it became a nightmare. My daughter and her mom looked under the trunk carpet and found 1 inch of standing water, shoddy repair of trim that was loose, and wiring to the speaker that was in the water. My daughter was so upset that she wanted me to take the car back stating "I can't believe they (Pete Moore) would sell us the car without telling us about the problem". When I returned the car, there was no hassle....but I do have issue with salesmen stating it is not their job ...pretty much casting it to the service department or body shop. I had asked the salesperson if Pete Moore's daughter or right hand man could call me so that I could voice my concern but the call was never received. Standing water is a SERIOUS problem that should have been noticed by the body shop and sales manager. The shoddy repair on a 2019 vehicle by the body shop....no excuses either. More

George found a variety of cars to show me and made good on his promise to make the experience a pleasure. I could actually focus on the cars because I was at ease. I thought I settled on a car but decided to go home to think about it, ended up coming back to test drive more cars the next day and settled on a different car. George was great and patient!
