For the brand and the price, this was a very disappointing experience with Porsche Atlanta Perimeter dealership. Budget brands like VW provide superior customer experience than what I experience disappointing experience with Porsche Atlanta Perimeter dealership. Budget brands like VW provide superior customer experience than what I experienced with my new Porsche purchase. I configured and ordered a new 2021 Cayenne on February 25, 2021 and made the dealer requested down payment to Porsche Atlanta Perimeter. The sales person who handled the purchase is Valerie Cobb. Once order was placed I received a planned schedule with expected delivery of June 4, 2021. Upon follow on May 10th to find out progress of my order, she confirmed that vehicle was on the ocean in a vessel name Siem Confucius. So I started tracking the vessel until it arrived in Port Jacksonville in Florida on May 23rd where my vehicle was expected to be off loaded from the vessel. From the May 23rd when vehicle arrived at Port of Jacksonville, delivery date were missed three times June 4th, June 11th and June 18th, until June 25th before I received my car. Essentially, it took longer time for the car to be delivered once it arrived at Port of Jacksonville than the time it took the vessel to cross the Atlantic Ocean from Germany with two stops prior to arriving in Jacksonville FL. I understand sometimes, there could be issues outside of the dealer’s control. But what I found unacceptable with this dealership was that, even when expected delivery date will be missed, no one will notify me ahead of time until I call, and typically, it will take a follow up call, text or email after 24 hours of my first call before I will get an update. After the third missed promised date on June 18th, when my call to Valarie was not responded to, I sent a text message expressing my disappointment about not receiving an update even though the dealership has failed to meet another promised delivery date. About 30 minutes after my text message on June 18th, Chris Treadwell called me and told me that going forward I cannot get any update from Valerie. I should reach out to him direct for any update. I asked about next expected delivery date and he told me in a very rude tone that there is none; there is no expected delivery date for me. Chris response was disappointing. If this dealership had told me on February 25th that there will be no expected delivery date, I would have taken my business somewhere else and would never have purchased the car through them. Chris Treadwell was disrespectful and disregarded the schedule which the dealer has provided. I found Chris behavior appalling and a form of bullying me for holding the dealership accountable for the missed promised delivery dates. I understand that things can happen beyond the dealer’s control but that does not make being evasive and non-communicating acceptable. This was my first Porsche purchase and if I have to buy Porsche again, Porsche Atlanta Perimeter will certainly not be on my list of dealership to consider, neither will I ever encourage anyone I know to make a purchase through this dealership. More

Like every transaction there are always issues. What separates a good dealer from a great dealer is how those issues are address and how the customer is prioritized.
