She was very attentive and responsive to all of my questions. The actual purchase of the car was very smooth and convenient. I felt like it was personalized and detail oriented. In all, I would strongly recommend this dealership and Sonya in particular. I was especially impressed with how quick the process was once I decided to buy the car given some of the reviews on this site about speed of this dealership in particular. My experience was all positive. More
My car is a 2003 Audi A4 Cabriolet. It is a convertable car, which is 8 years old but in excellant condition. I noticed recently that the glass window in the top was seperating from the cloth. Not a very g car, which is 8 years old but in excellant condition. I noticed recently that the glass window in the top was seperating from the cloth. Not a very good situation. I went to Audi of Princeton, and showed it to Troy the Manager. He took pictures of the top, and informed me that he would try to get Audi to cover the expense on a goodwill basis, and get it replaced for free. Well Audi is going to cover it and the work is being done right now. I really appreciate it and I am very pleased he could help. More

My husband and I decided to "look" at the VW Touareg this past Memorial Day Weekend. Note this was our first time looking at this vehicle. At the time we were current owners of a 2009 Jetta an Touareg this past Memorial Day Weekend. Note this was our first time looking at this vehicle. At the time we were current owners of a 2009 Jetta and very happy with our current vehicle. Our search began with a friendly conversation with Sonya Sestito at the Princeton VW dealership. She greeted us with a gentle smile and a not in your face sales approach. We began with a "we are just looking" type of approach and discussed the Touareg, our options and looked at the used models on the lot. We finished our visit with two test drives of two different used models and walked away feeling more interested but not necessarily 100% interested. Sonya did not make us feel as if we were "walking away" from a deal but rather as consumers leaving the dealership more informed. She was so gracious and detailed with our inquiries that it was her follow up that brought us back to the lot about two weeks later. And as a result of her excellent communication skills and knowledge, my husband and I began to seriously consider and ultimately purchased a new (not used) Touareg! Please note that we live in Brooklyn, NY far from an easy and convenient drive to Princeton. The reason we went to this specific dealership is because we had experienced great customer service with our Jetta's maintenance appointments and we had happened to be in the area on the day of our initial visit. The following day, back in NY, we decided to check out the more conveniently located and new, Open Road Volkswagen Manhattan. Big mistake. When we arrived, a group of about five salesmen were our out in front of the dealership's entrance smoking. When we walked in they all followed us in and one gentleman greeted us from behind instead of greeting us as we walked into the show room. His approach was very in your face and he seemed somewhat rushed because we were a "just looking" client. In addition, the quotes he gave us were unrealistic and furthered the stereo type of the sleazy car salesman. Also, he took our information and never contacted us as a follow up. As a result, they lost a potential sale and lost any and all future business of our as loyal VW customers. More

I called for a price check to replace my rear disk breaks on my 2008 jetta. Princeton vw said $480.00! I asked why so much and gentleman said because they pads and rotors have to be replaced. Vw rotor cannot on my 2008 jetta. Princeton vw said $480.00! I asked why so much and gentleman said because they pads and rotors have to be replaced. Vw rotor cannot be resurfaced so they have to install new ones everytime new pads are installed. Called Reydel VW price was $210, Hamilton VW $180. I asked both dealerships about rotor and they said rotor CAN be resurfaced and you DO NOT need new ones everytime you change pads. I ended going to Reydel because it was closer, in live in Princeton. My rotors did not need to be replaced. Princeton VW is (service department) dishonest and will make you do unnecessary work to your vehicle. More
Al Helmuth was informative, not high-pressured in his approach. I felt like I was having a conversation about the car rather than being "pitched." The dealership's sales team, including the appraiser wer approach. I felt like I was having a conversation about the car rather than being "pitched." The dealership's sales team, including the appraiser were friendly and helpful. I believe I received fair value for my trade-in and a reasonable price on the new car I wanted. While other dealers I visited talked about how hard it would be to find the exact car I wanted, Al's comment was,"now our job begins." This is the attitude that buyers want. The GM was extremely helpful when a problem appeared on the car fax of my trade-in. He immediately knew it was an error and accepted the responsibility of fixing it. Again, they took the "can do" attitude rather than push it off to the buyer. Carl Aloi was both informative and efficient in completing the "paperwork" and in explaining "after sales" programs they offer. Overall, it was a relaxed and surprisingly pleasant experience. More
