This dealership was the same as other Hyundai dealerships we visited, in that they all try to take advantage of you to the maximum extent possible. The MSRP for the car we bought was over 10 thousand LESS th we visited, in that they all try to take advantage of you to the maximum extent possible. The MSRP for the car we bought was over 10 thousand LESS than the price they demanded. They jacked up the price with options I didn’t need or want (and could not decline), like $500 to fill the tires with nitrogen! Then they added their “dealer markup” of almost $4000 bucks. I understand that the market right now for buying a new car is in the dealer’s favor with all the supply issues and chip shortages we see in the news, but it seems to me like doubling the price of hotels and lumber after a hurricane. We had to sit for hours in a freezing trailer because the whole place was under construction (with no bathroom except a vile, pee covered porta-potty or a real bathroom far, far away). The guy that eventually released my new car to me gave almost zero instructions on how to use the myriad of controls, and even though we showed up at 2 pm we didn’t get to drive the car away until after dark, when I could not even perform a decent inspection of it to verify the quality of the exterior or that the options I had selected were indeed included. As I stated at the beginning, I would not recommend any car dealership to anyone, they are all the same and are all eager to rip you off to the maximum extent possible. More
