It took much longer than quoted which led to me missing my children's school appointment. But I was a walk-in and can understand how it's difficult to estimate accurately. Not liking the arrival inspection process of vehicle AT ALL I did not like when I arrived with my vehicle for routine service (my car was not recently washed and had plenty of dust) and they went around the ent I did not like when I arrived with my vehicle for routine service (my car was not recently washed and had plenty of dust) and they went around the entire car taking pictures immediately upon arrival, to only come back to review their findings to tell me that I had scratches on my bumper. I, with Carol (who was extremely nice), reviewed the findings of their inspection and "scratches" (that were now reported and on record of my leased car), so I looked at them, with Carol and with my finger removed these "scratches" which were rubs, which were probably from my lower jacket or pants rubbing against my car when getting out of my car in my garage. My car is garaged, its barely used, the mileage is super low--every time I lease and return a vehicle I get a refund for portion of miles not used and a brand new garaged car is returned which I know they make quadruple money off me from. This was the first time I was at BMW and felt like the leased car I have was not mine (I am fully aware that a lease is a big rental) and that it was a vehicle that BMW generously was allowing me to borrow for some time but to beware. I don't like this process. I really did not like the feeling I can tell you that. I also don't appreciate having these kinds of comments and "findings of scratches" which were removed upon rubbing them off on record as having "scratches" on my bumper. This is my second BMW, second lease, I was a Lexus costumer for years and several vehicles before BMW. I did consider not getting the second BMW I have because I did not like the end of lease way of business and the way I was treated at all. Keeping this all in mind for when this lease is up. I am not into leasing a car and worrying the whole 3 years about what crazy scrutiny I will be put through as I was at the end of my last BMW lease. I spend a lot of money on this car to lease. It is well cared for, garaged and barely used with super low mileage, and all my leases I have ever had have been returned in superb condition. Not happy, not into this uneasy feeling for the next 2-1/2 years of what financial shake down is going to come at the end of my lease (again like last time). Can't imagine what others go through who are rough on their cars if I am feeling the way I am feeling and treat my car with kid gloved. Definitely considering not getting into another BMW lease after this one. More
