I was cool with letting the dealer keep my vehicle for a week to get a recall done and oil change done as they were busy. I didn’t ask for a shuttle or a rental/loaner car. I arranged my own transport and went without a car for a week. Not to mention this was the second time I had to come back for the same recall. I was messaged my car was ready for pickup. I left work headed over to pick it up only to find that the dealer lost my vehicle which the time it took to find my vehicle made me late returning to work. All of my mirrors were adjusted/changed as well as my driver seat. Not simply moved forward or back the seat was lowered to the ground and reclined back like someone was joy riding. My radio station was changed also. Absolutely ridiculous. I’m not sure how a service dept. would not no that rule number one should be don’t mess with a customers settings. Extremely disappointed and frustrated. More
Lack of communication from service team. Was told it would take 10 days to connect truck to computer to diagnose issue. After speaking with customer care director I was informed they could p Was told it would take 10 days to connect truck to computer to diagnose issue. After speaking with customer care director I was informed they could pull all this data from the truck directly without the dealership. Scheduled a time to bring in truck for service. After a week of no updates I called back and was told the shop manager was driving it to try and get code to come back on truck. After another week with no update and no mileage increase in ford pass app I called back again to customer care. Was told my truck was still sitting on lot and not in the shop. My truck was 2 weeks old and it was not a priority to anyone but the customer care director. I now have my truck back since nobody was working on it. When picking it up I was told they sent it to diagnostics even though they already had all the error codes. I now have to take it back again when a spot opens up in the shop. If they would have told me this from the beginning I would have been able to enjoy my brand new truck. More
