Purchased a brand-new Ford Maverick will full payment and no loan. Unforutantely, shortly after closing I had read through more of the paperwork to find out that I had gotten charged for a dealer bedliner th no loan. Unforutantely, shortly after closing I had read through more of the paperwork to find out that I had gotten charged for a dealer bedliner that was already installed from the Ford Factory. Furthermore, I was charged for window tints as well that I had to go back to schedule as I was not informed of this prior or during the sale process as well. The "dealer accessory" breakdown was not shown to be in detail during closing but rather a generic line item that encompassed various dealer required add-ons (wheel locks, tailgate lock, door security, bed liner, window tints) Once I brought up both of these issues I will admit that the Randal Reeds Ford team did a good job on making me "whole" again. Lyndi coordinated getting a $600+ refund check back to me for the amount of bed liner that I was incorrectly charged. I also was able to get setup with the installation of window tints that Kevin Mckinnon coordinated getting this done quickly. I was treated with respect every time I came in but unfortunately, I can't provide an "excellent" start rating due to the fact I had to personally find out and research almost $1000 worth of expenses (bed liner and tint) that I was incorrectly charged for. I will give credit to the dealership team to at least getting me back what was owed and making me whole again. However, it took work on my part to make sure this happened. I am not sure if this is a regular occurrence as I only found this out after calling Ford directly who explained that my trim Ford Maverick automatically came from the factory with the bedliner. More
