My daughter/son in law have purchased 2 Kia from Russ Darrow, so it is reasonabl I have bought my 4th Kia (2019 Niro EX) from Russ Darrow Kia Madison. My daughter/son in law have purchased 2 Kia from Russ Darrow, so it is reasonable to call us a Kia family. We go to Russ Darrow Kia Madison because we have used their service department for years, and they're close by to both work and home. As we have purchased our Kia vehicles the negotiations have improved and gotten smoother progressively. Years ago when we purchased our 1st Kia, the sales pressure and process was frankly... awful. I was very reluctant to go back, but as we purchased our next Kia vehicle the purchase process has gotten easier, better and smoother. Our salesperson Jonathan Chizever did an excellent job, worked with our requirements, negotiated calmly and with respect, with very little pressure. Smooth transaction, just took a long time to process. His associates who assisted in our purchase were friendly, and appeared to be genuinely sincere. We did end up spending a little more than we wanted, but the fuel savings we expect to gain will make up for it. First road trip... 588 miles on 11.5 gallons, pretty good! More

The salesman had been devious and deceiving, even disrespectful. All negotiations were done behind closed doors and there was no transparency at all. Although I did purchase a car then, I've been bitter about it ever since. Despite all that, when I was shopping online this fall for a Kia and found the one that most closely fit my criteria at Russ Darrow, I decided with much trepidation, even dread, to take the chance. From my first foot in the door, I could not believe the transformation. I was pleasantly greeted and introduced to Ian, who was friendly, considerate, patient, open and honest throughout the process. He is everything a car salesperson should be and more. When it came time to negotiate a price, Ryan worked directly with me and was also patient and respectful, and made me feel very comfortable and satisfied with the agreement we reached. Zach went through all the final paperwork with me and was thorough and competent in answering any questions I had. All three of these gentlemen, along with Dan in service, were genuinely warm, friendly, competent and professional, even recognizing and greeting me on a return visit a month later, engaging in conversation and asking how I was enjoying my new car. Every one of them clearly understand the importance and embody the ideal of great customer service. As someone who has never had what I would consider a good or pleasant car buying experience, I cannot say enough about how pleased I was, except to say that I would not hesitate for a moment to return to this dealership for my next car purchase. Honest, Transparent and Effortless My wife and I had intended to roll into another new Chevy Malibu Premier lease as the lease on our present Chevy Malibu Premier was ending and due to My wife and I had intended to roll into another new Chevy Malibu Premier lease as the lease on our present Chevy Malibu Premier was ending and due to be turned in on November 22nd . GM workers began their strike on September 15th and that strike did not end until October 25th. Our leasing agent advised us that it was highly improbable if we ordered/built a vehicle it would arrive by November 22nd as there was a backlog of orders to be filled first. I had already been researching potential substitute vehicles and was considering a loaded Honda Accord despite the fact that I was hardly in love with its’ looks. It turned out that Honda simply did not have; had not released any lease programs at all for 2020 and I did not want a leftover 2019 however aggressive the pricing; no interest in a Toyota Camry. After finding very favorable reviews on the 2019 Kia Optima SX Turbo both from JD Power online, and a Chicago newspaper in addition to numerous YouTube reviews, I started reaching out to local Kia dealers and to my surprise they did not respond to my email inquiries. We were driving home one night and decided to stop into the Russ Darrow Kia on Odana Road to look at a Kia Forte GT with the intention of downsizing. There we met Zackery Glynn who was super helpful and Ryan Wondra the sales manager for this store. After sitting in an Optima on the showroom floor I had the sense that it was more spacious then our Malibu. I went home and began building one. Ryan let me know that a $4,000 package that was offered in 2019 was not going to be offered in 2020 and wanted to be sure that I knew this for he did not want us to be disappointed. Zackery kept us apprised of the progress regarding the delivery date and the vehicle arrived earlier than promised. We placed the order in October and it turned out there was even a better lease program for us when it arrived in November. Ryan was very transparent about all of the rebates and incentives and made every effort to get our monthly payment where we wanted it to be. We have leased many cars and purchased many cars over the years and this experience was effortless; sometimes you anticipate a shoe to fall and it simply does not. The process was effortless; how often can you say that about a car purchase experience? The car was indoors delivered in a dedicated “Delivery Room” having been prepped. The orientation given to us by our salesperson Zackery Glynn covered all we needed to know and was thorough. Our experience with the Finance Manager, Zach Brimmer was also smooth with no surprises; in fact in the middle of the transaction I asked if I could opt for a 10,000 mile per year lease (instead of a 12K per year which was what the deal was that had been drawn up). Zach went to Ryan and in less than 10 minutes our residual went up by 1 point and our payment down by $10.00 per month; never once were our requests and questions made to seem high maintenance. I highly recommend doing business with Russ Darrow Kia of Madison; parenthetically the fit and finish of the product is very high; the interior noise is almost totally absent; a positive surprise to be with this new brand.
