Had been messaging with Riley throughout the week on a few vehicles that they had. During that time found a nearly identical model and trim at another dealership at a better price point. I had explain few vehicles that they had. During that time found a nearly identical model and trim at another dealership at a better price point. I had explained that I would be coming from over an hour away and asking to be respectful of my time. I asked if they would be willing to match or come close to the other dealer and was told they would match it if I financed through Kia (I have the text screenshots to prove it). This was the same make, model, trim but only a different color which they were fully aware of before making the promise. The sales manager was incredibly unfriendly, rude and condescending. Threw the paperwork on the desk and said that there would be no further discussion. After reviewing the paperwork the price was not what was promised during communication. So somebody lied, either Riley asking their manager about the price match or the manager actually not wanting to price match just to get me in the door. Neither of which have the people skills or sales ability to overcome blatant dishonesty. More

He is a stand up guy who understands that most people can see through the gimmicks of car sales and takes a professional and reasonable approach. He is the reason we wanted to stay with this KIA for our next lease. We could have gone back to the Illinois KIA or any other, but he made us feel like the no pressure approach was where we wanted to bring our business. We knew we needed to trade in but we didn’t need to go here, we wanted to. He is a great communicator, meets you where you’re at and doesn’t butter you up then change when he doesn’t like what you have to say or try To negotiate. Even keeled and chill! He kept in touch enough for us to keep our eye on the target without getting pressured or annoyed. We love Xavier! More
