I had recently bought a used 2018 Kia Optima. A few weeks later my sunglass holder just stopped working, fell down and wouldn’t go back up. It obstructs my front mirror in the car which is difficult the driv later my sunglass holder just stopped working, fell down and wouldn’t go back up. It obstructs my front mirror in the car which is difficult the drive with. This car is covered with a manufacturer insurance. I tried talking to the sales associate that I bought the car from to see if they could fix this minor problem. It turned into a long hassle of defensive arguing and constantly telling me they were super busy and unsure if the sunglass holder can be fixed for me or not. I decided to wait until the staff was less busy to make it easier on them. I tried calling again and was directed to multiple people including Gus. Straight off the bat Gus had a negative tone towards me. I was just asking questions about the warranty because I was confused. He responds with comments such as “Well I don’t get it either” in a condescending tone. Very rude and hard to deal with. I was just trying to get a simple thing fixed and was bombarded by rudeness. This angered me and I did not want to work with him. Rebecca, another sales manager, then helped me out. She also was very defensive for such a trivial matter. The whole process was blown out of proportion and seemed like they just did not want to help. Unfriendly and difficult to work with. Poor customer service from both members of the Kia dealership. I made an appointment with the dealer tomorrow and still don’t know if they will charge me or not. In a nutshell, I would definitely not recommend working with them. They make it hard to get something done and the customer service is 1/10 in friendliness. Love my car but the service is just plain bad unfortunately. More

My husband and I have had some really bad luck with the vehicles we had in the last 2 weeks. My transmission went out on my car, put us down to one vehicle, then a week later the head gasket went out on my vehicles we had in the last 2 weeks. My transmission went out on my car, put us down to one vehicle, then a week later the head gasket went out on my husbands truck. All of a sudden we found ourselves without any vehicle at all.we couldn't get to work. We were stuck in a hard place. I made a phone call to Kia/Russ Darrow. They hooked me up with Dennis. I told him our situation. He began working on a plan along with his manager Rebecca for us. Knowing my husband was missing days of work, he worked on our plan all day for us. Knowing my husband and i have the worst credit along with bankruptcy on our credit, Dennis and Rebecca were able to get a 2020 Kia Forte vehicle approved through the bank for us in one day!!! We were soo happy beyond belief! Dennis and Rebecca were extremely nice. With excellent customer service. They both went above and beyond to help us out on our situation. Dennis even came in on his day off to finish what he worked on with us to close the deal. Rebecca came in earlier then expected to help finish up with Dennis. I will definitely be recommending this car dealership to others i know looking for a vehicle and recommending they talk and deal with Dennis and Rebecca. Both people are exceptionally good at what they do as for work. And can tell they both lovr what their doing. Helping people get the vehicle they want and need. They both are very down to earth people. Thank you again Dennis amd Rebecca for all that you helped us with in buying a vehicle and with our situation. It won't be forgotten. Purchased vehicle in good faith of being told “we stand by our cars”, NOT TRUE! exactly 2 weeks later the engine light appears on dash. Service check over car and explains that it needs nearly $1000 of wor by our cars”, NOT TRUE! exactly 2 weeks later the engine light appears on dash. Service check over car and explains that it needs nearly $1000 of work. Unbelievable! Told not covered under warranty. Why was the car available for purchase with such a problem? Spoke with manager and was told “sorry there’s nothing we can do”. Completely unsatisfied! Feel tricked! Jonathan sold me a bad car. Dishonest, NEVER AGAIN! More
