MY HUSBAND AND I WENT TO SALERNO DAUNE BECAUSE OF AN ADVERTISEMENT IN THE NEWSPAPER. WHEN WE WALKED IN SERGIO OVALLE GREETED US IMMEDIATELY AND WE TOLD HIM ABOUT THE AD. HE TOLD US WHAT JEEPS HE HAD AV ADVERTISEMENT IN THE NEWSPAPER. WHEN WE WALKED IN SERGIO OVALLE GREETED US IMMEDIATELY AND WE TOLD HIM ABOUT THE AD. I have NEVER been so disgusted with a business until I had to deal with George, Steve, and the technicians at Salerno Duane in Summit NJ. We brought in our car in January because it died and it took them had to deal with George, Steve, and the technicians at Salerno Duane in Summit NJ. We brought in our car in January because it died and it took them 7 weeks until they looked at it. I called numerous times and they said they couldn't figure it out. This is a Chryslar dealership and I have a PT cruiser. After it was "fixed" with a new power control module and just about everything else new, the car had a new issue and it wouldn't start smoothly. We brought it back twice and they claimed they couldn't duplicate the problem. They said it was the sway bar and all this other crap. So they did it free of charge since they didn't fix the original problem and and we were suppose to get back 78 dollars because of the difference of the two jobs. This was in April and it's now almost JULY! I have called George and he said I would have it by early June. The car was STILL not turning smoothly!!! I brought it to another auto repairs place in Summit and he noticed that the spark plugs needed to be replaced and the engine wasn't bolted down because the technician at Salerno Duane took short cuts! UNBELIEVEABLE! I will make sure to tell everyone to never go to this dealership. They are lazy, don't care about customer's concerns and just want to get paid and go home. This is the worst customer service I have ever recieved!! More

AVOID THIS DEALER. UNDERHANDED/POSSIBLE EVEN ILLEGAL TACTICS. I bought a car - papers signed, temp tags issued, paid. 1st pickup, car very dirty; they agreed to clean it. Upon 2nd pickup (a week later), car was still dirty & they refused to clean it and honor their word, got nasty & belligerent, manager refused to speak to me, was asked to leave, request for higher manager or owner resulted in what appears to have been a low level salesman pretending he was the owner coming out to say that he agreed with the manager's view. They admitted they didnt feel like honoring deal b/c they had received several calls asking about the car. Also they told me that Chrysler advertised $1k incentives and special interest rate n/a for my car. Actually was available - so it seems they were going to keep the rebate from Chrysler for themselves. More
