San Tan Ford responded

Good afternoon, I'm sorry you feel this way, but hopefully I can help clear things up. When Mr. Zazick brought the Ford Flex because of the check engine light, he was told there would be a $99.95 fee to diagnose the vehicle which he agreed to. The vehicle was diagnosed, the repair was not covered by the 3rd party warranty (factory warranty already expired), and Mr. Zazick declined any repairs. Had I know that it would cost $99.95 BEFORE we could even figured out the warranty, I would have simply called the warranty company to see what my coverage was and could have made a better decisions to what the costs would be…i.e. choosing an “in-network” provider, deductibles, etc. I assumed (wrongly) that Eric was on our side trying to do the best for us and our bottom line. In my naivety, I thought that your employees would operate more like a doctors office or mechanic, verifying with my coverage BEFORE doing ANY work. We felt that Eric asked us to sign the paper to save us the hassle of driving home to get a phone number and then driving back just to sign a paper. We thought he asked us to sign simply out of convince, to save us, and him, time once everything was figured out and could make an informed decision. We have since learned our lesson. We did sign the paper and we thus we paid the $99.95, but we will not be returning to your service department. You have not earned any trust from us.
