Door latch Does anyone want to address the fact that the doors latches on the F150 do not permit the closing of the doors when the temperature goes below freezin Does anyone want to address the fact that the doors latches on the F150 do not permit the closing of the doors when the temperature goes below freezing? I bought this 2018 F150 Crew Cab to take my crew skiing where it is routinely below freezing. I have been unable to close the doors on three occasions so far. The first instance was at 20 degrees Fahrenheit on a Saturday morning when I was bringing my daughter to work. Thirty seconds into our ride we made a left turn and her door flew open. She grabbed it and pulled it closed but it would not close. The latch would not keep the door closed. Fotunately, we were a block from the house and returned to get my wife's Chevy Traverse which has doors that work properly. On New Year's eve 2018, I had to bring my 80 year old parents to the airport early in the day. Upon entering the vehicle the driver door would not close. Again I took the Chevy. I also recorded a video of the door not shutting properly. This morning, Monday, January 7, 2019, I again was unable to get the door to shut at 6:30 am when it was 24 degrees. I sprayed the latch with WD-40 and eventually got it to shut. I bought a Ford Tough vehicle. xx can't take the cold? xxx More
