I purchased an SUV from Schoepp at the beginning of October. After driving it for a couple of months, I realized it wasn't the right vehicle for me, mainly due to its low gas mileage. I decided to trade it in so I visited Schoepp and test drove a few cars. I settled on a Toyota Camry and began the process of financing the car. Since I had purchased the SUV so recently, my lender wasn't crazy about the trade and they made it very difficult for the guys at Schoepp. Bob, Dave, and Dale spent over two hours on the phone with the lender to make the deal happen. They also gave me a huge discount on the vehicle and ultimately lost money on the sale. I was floored by the fact that making the deal work was so important to them and they were willing to take a hit on the car in order to keep me as a customer. Because of this amazing customer service, the next vehicle I buy will be from Schoepp and I'll be sending people their way. I would highly recommend buying from them. More
TJ was incredibly helpful. When we found that the car I initially was interested in wasn't going to work, he hunted around to get an even bette replacement. I stopped at all of the locations in Madison and saw some cars that I liked but the sales people were not very helpful they were really pushy. So I decided to go to Middleton and see what they had. Rick came up to me and was extremely nice from the start I told him what I was looking for and told home I had a family and I wanted something fun to drive but yet family oriented. We test drove some cars and I kinda liked them and I mentioned I wish that they had a Subaru he told me that they had a legacy and it was in my price range. I dove it and fell in love with it. Now my credit wasn't the best and he knew that we waited for a while to hear back. But it didn't go thru I was bummed. But then the next day I got a call to come sign paper work and take the car. :) he told me he went the extra mile and I could see it. I thank him for that and I am very happy with the out come. He gave me an extended warranty and my payment was right at what I could afford. If I plan to get another car in the future or trade in I will defiantly be back. If anyone plans to get a new car deal with him he will help you out and go the extra mile to get you what u want and make you and your family happy. I know I am. I was hesitant to go to a used car dealership due to some of my past experiences at various dealerships. I called Schoepp Motors to ask about a vehicle that I saw on line and I was connected with a salesman of my past experiences at various dealerships. I called Schoepp Motors to ask about a vehicle that I saw on line and I was connected with a salesman named Scott Lux. Scott was exceptionally helpful from the moment we first spoke. He was able to answer my questions and did research on the questions he could not immediately answer and got back to me in a very timely fashion. Due to my telephone experience with Scott, I went in to see the vehicle. Scott was very friendly and helpful. I took my children with me, and we all know how much fun car buying can be for young kids and how distracting they can be if not amused! Scott involved them in the conversation, helped get them a snack, set them up with the TV, and helped make the experience more enjoyable for them. Therefore, I was able to concentrate and work on the car deal. I felt Scott was honest, open, gave me the information that I needed to make a decision. I also feel like I got a sweet deal! I am now driving my new used car and am very pleased! There were a few lingering items to take care of after the sale, such as forgetting things in my old vehicle. After loosing a vehicle from a crash, our family was searching for a new (to us) used vehicle to replace the lost one. Our family has always preferred the larger body types (We have Suburbans and Yukons searching for a new (to us) used vehicle to replace the lost one. Although these are not easy on the wallet, they give us peace-of-mind, and help us feel safe while we and our family members are on the road. On our day which we set aside for finding the right car within a hours drive of our home (Fort Atkinson/Jefferson area), our journey began with a few stops in Janesville. The sales person at this dealership ended up putting us into a car way above our price range and having us test drive (regardless of the fact that we described to him the types of vehicle and price range we were looking at). So, after a few hours of fairly poor car sales people, we arrived at the Schoepp Stoughton Rd. location. We took a quick drive around the parking lot to spot out any potential vehicles without getting suckered into the sales pitch of the team. After finding a few that looked nice to us, we got out to find a sales rep to begin our process. The first person we found was Scott Lux. Scott was very presentable and looked very nice, which is more than we could say for other sales people we had encountered earlier in the day. We told Scott what we were looking for and immediately, he knew where on the lot to take us, and began to tell us about the cars fitting our needs. This showed us that he really knew what he was taking about and was very familiar with his inventory. As we began to explore the lot, we really enjoyed the fact that the keys to the vehicles were in a lock box right at the car. We absolutely loved that the vehicles could be opened right on the spot, instead of waiting for the salesperson to run back into the store, find the key, and come back out for each vehicle. Scott showed us to a few SUV's, asked for our feedback, and was genuinely interested in what we had to say. We could tell he was processing this information, since he began to suggest and narrow down vehicles based on our likes and dislikes as we went from car to car. Ultimately, we narrowed down on an SUV and Scott took us back to one of the cubicles to talk things over with us. We discussed how it met our needs and also what our financial picture looked like. Scott was very sensitive and polite the entire time and we did not feel pressured at any point in the process. We were able to get a price from Scott's manager which was not exactly what we had hoped, but was still a mark-down from sticker price. There were still a few dealerships we had planned to check out, so we told Scott what our plans were and he was very sincere and again did not make us feel pressured in any way. We went to investigate further in Madison without much luck. We did find a few comprable vehicles, but nothing that was a clear leader in our running. After getting lunch and discussing things, we decided to go back to Schoepp to talk more with Scott and his manager. Scott offered to take us on a test drive, which went well. When we got back, Scott brought us back to the cubicle to talk over the vehicle some more. Scott was never intense, but only informative, which was such a nice change. Ultimately, we put in an offer on the vehicle, which we were not really expecting to be accepted. After discussing with the manager, Scott was able to get us the offer exactly as we had hoped! From here, it was a breeze. Scott helped us through each step of the way. We were very, very pleased with Scott's service. He was kind, caring, and made us feel like we were the most important people to him at all times. He made us feel like he was on our side and that he was going to bat for us, which also helped us to be at ease. We would highly recommend Scott and the Schoepp's East location to anyone looking for a nice quality used vehicle at an outstanding price with friendly, kind service. We will be returning to Scott for our next vehicle purchase!! More
