I was going camping and when i went to start my truck, 2018 silverado, the starter wouldn’t work. My $650 camping reservation was paid and non refundable. I brought my Silverado in for an oil change. On the way home...what a co-inkydink!...my transmission fluid began to leak (unbeknownst to me) and 20miles later, I lose the transmission. xxxx, rig On the way home...what a co-inkydink!...my transmission fluid began to leak (unbeknownst to me) and 20miles later, I lose the transmission. xxxx, right? But the dealer could fix it for only $6,500. (This is a 2012 with 80k on it.) I took the truck to Stily's, who could do it for $3,500. Satisfied customer? No. New transmission after 80k? I don't know if this was Scranton's fault of Chevy's fault, but this is the last Chevy I'll own. (I had a Toyota t-100. Drove it for 28 years, 139k, with never ever a single breakdown, other than the rust that finally took it.) But let me add that the Scranton service dept. was very friendly. More

I am very dissatisfied with service from Scranton. I recently brought my vehicle in for service and had to wait 5.5 hours to get work done, but it was never completed. The outer front tires were bald I recently brought my vehicle in for service and had to wait 5.5 hours to get work done, but it was never completed. The outer front tires were bald because apparently the front was way out of alignment. I had to pay for alignment despite the fact that i just recently bought this vehicle. The dealer informed me that these tires were discontinued. I went to Town Fair Tire to get them, and they cost me $600. Regarding the driver's seat, the service department did not fix the problem i was complaining about. They ordered a new seat. They were not sure if the warranty covers this seat, or if i have to pay for it. In the meantime I'm still waiting for the seat to come in. Again, no one told me this service call would take 5.5 hrs. Frustrating! More

Where to start? ! Went in to fix a minor exhaust leak, & they ruined my power steering unit. No explanation. I was told it was just a coincidence. Sounds like a bo ! They forgot to order parts for my car, after telling me I had to plan my service two weeks out to ensure parts arrived on time. Parts finally arrive, & “OEM” parts don’t fit. They install aftermarket parts after suggesting I take my car to Meinekie for the repair. Misdiagnose a noise suspected to be related to the exhaust issue, turns out to be a wheel bearing/hub. 100% do not trust this dealership. Incredibly disorganized. They rush you through service and take your money. I was a die hard Chevrolet fan since I was a child, & next week I’m trading in for a Honda. Can’t even believe I’m saying it out loud. Will never buy Chevy again. More

The dealership as a whole is great. However get your mechanic work done elsewhere. Brought my vehicle in 4 time for the same issue, the first time they barely looked at it because they "couldnt replicate the issue" even though I had video proof of the problem. The second time they claimed that they "fixed it" on the drive home from the dealership the problem happened again. Finally they ordered a replacement part, which took almost 2 months to get here, and all this time no communication from them whatsoever. Brought the car in the third time for them to install and fix the issue, took them the entire day, and they never contacted me saying when it would be ready. Got my car back and now I am bringing it in for the fourth time because they screwed up the programming, aka caused a new problem. More
