I purchased my Volvo from Smythe three weeks ago but when a problem arose with the Blind Spot Information System, I had to take it to my local Volvo d I purchased my Volvo from Smythe three weeks ago but when a problem arose with the Blind Spot Information System, I had to take it to my local Volvo dealership since I live in Northern Virginia. The local dealership insisted that I pay for their repair even though it should have been covered under warranty, insinuated that possibly I had caused the problem in the short time I had the car and did not return my phone calls requesting clarification. Thank goodness for Smythe, Bob Cerza and Gabe Levy! Not only did they contact the local dealership to get more information and try to resolve the issue, but when they did not get any cooperation from the local dealership, they told me not to worry, that they would reimburse me for the cost of the repair. Truly, Smythe is the best at sales - and service. More

2014 Honda Odyssey Touring Elite Purchase I'm so grateful for Smythe Volvo! We know that can be terrifying with all the "bait & switch", "hidden fees", the dreaded "vehicle is available, the o I'm so grateful for Smythe Volvo! We know that can be terrifying with all the "bait & switch", "hidden fees", the dreaded "vehicle is available, the oh it just sold" after a 2hr drive shenanigans. This is not the case with Smythe Volvo. Deborah the Sales Rep. who attended us was remarkable! Smile, friendly, super sociable, and wonderful with our two daughters...my wife and I were super impressed and pleasantly amazed. We were interested in a 2014 Honda Odyssey Touring Elite that was listed as fair price on Cargurus which can mean one of two things; a. car is more expensive with hidden fees, or b. car is not as it appears. On our visit after an hour ride the car was fair for a 54k miles minivan and the also had a 2011 Honda Odyssey Touring non Elite 96k miles. My trade in had $6.5k negative equity and we had about $4k for a down-payment with rebuilding credit. Deborah did not condescend nor try to push the older minivan but worked diligently with Kevin the Finance Manager to get me approved with a decent rate for our situation. We ended up purchasing the minivan with $5k down in two days time. My entire family was super pleased to say the least. Would I recommend this dealer? YES, in a heartbeat! She worked extremely hard to find the car along with her manager PJ. They both were very patient & kept assuring me that they will find me the car. Finally they had the vehicle in the dealership. Delivery schedule & paperwork with Shaun went very smoothly. My wife requested Debbie for pinstripe & she got it done on time, which looked beautiful.
