Best Car buying Experience ever I recently purchased a beautiful, clean, low mileage pre owned/certified 2017 XC90. I had dealt with Smyth Volvo in the past, but this time a new sal I recently purchased a beautiful, clean, low mileage pre owned/certified 2017 XC90. I had dealt with Smyth Volvo in the past, but this time a new salesmen named Stacey Hopson helped us. Stacey was incredibly knowledgeable, patient and professional. I have purchased many cars throughout the years and this was, by far, the best experience. The Finance manager was very professional as well and gave us a great deal on some after market items and financing rate. Lastly, there were just a few tiny blemishes on the car that they agreed to take care of and they did so within a week to my total satisfaction! More

Brandon was courteous, professional, and friendly I purchased XC90 for my wife from Smythe Volvo last year, which was our first Volvo. She loves her XC90 and is very happy with it. However, she not I purchased XC90 for my wife from Smythe Volvo last year, which was our first Volvo. She loves her XC90 and is very happy with it. However, she noticed that the stainless steel trim on the rear bumper was beginning to lift on one side last month. This trim is more of an add-on accessory that you add to the car for aesthetic as well as to protect the bumper from scratches while loading heavy luggage on the rear back. We originally did not have plans to add this trim but the inventory that matched the model and the color that we wanted already had this add-on trim so we didn't mind spending just a little more for this add-on. By the way, our car was located in a dealer in PA but Smythe Volvo was able to make a trade to bring it over so we can buy it. Needless to say that my wife was upset and worried when she saw this trim lifting up on one side. If it lifted up any higher, it can catch the rear lift gate when opening and can potentially rip off the entire trim and possibly damage the lift gate as well as the rear bumper. We had a great experience purchasing our XC90 from Brian Gagliardi last year but unfortunately Smythe Volvo is an hour drive from our house so we called a local Volvo dealer in Ramsey to inquire about this problem and warranty but the person that my wife spoke to was not friendly and he indicated that this problem needs to be addressed by the dealer who sold the car. My wife then called Smythe Volvo and spoke to Brandon Zimmerman about it. Brandon was very professional and he asked my wife to email couple of pictures of our Volvo in the rear bumper area to make sure that there wasn't any sign of accident or damages that might have caused this problem. From there on, I exchanged few emails with Brandon and I could not be any more happy. He was very courteous and prompt with email communications. He explained that any Volvo dealer should be able to fix this problem and that he would have no issue taking care of this if I don't mind the drive to Smythe Volvo. Brandon even made the appointment for me and ordered the part in advance before I got there. When my wife and I met Brandon in person on the day of the service appointment, he was again very professional and friendly. After inspecting the car, he told me that this is covered under the bumper to bumper warranty and by the time my wife and I came back from having a breakfast at a nearby diner, the car was ready with the new trim installed and even got a free car wash! My wife was pleased with the overall experience we had with Brandon so much that she told me she would rather drive an hour to get maintenance service for her XC90 done at Smythe Volvo rather than at a local Volvo dealer!
