From start to finish everyone was professional, pleasant, not pushy, had the vehicle we were interested in ready for us to look when we arrived. Worked with us as well as our insurance company every step of the way. When we picked up our car it was clean, all paperwork was ready to be signed, Kyle took the time to set everything up and explain everything about our new car to us. Kyle went the extra mile and came in to complete the sale on his day off to accommodate our schedule. More
The car on its own is good, but deb made it great! I was not happy about getting a new car. There were too many new features that were completely different from my last car. Deb spent so much time with me, going over every detail. Usually buying a car is a nightmare. She made the entire process pleasant and, dare I say, fun. I highly recommend the car. And above that, I highly recommend asking for deb! More
Service Plan / Reliability Horrible service. Buyers be ware of their service plan as the people dealing with your car are not such experts after all. I have been coming here for Horrible service. Buyers be ware of their service plan as the people dealing with your car are not such experts after all. I have been coming here for the past 5 years and my wife family for about 15. We have noticed that in the past 3 or 4 services they have even failed to give you services stickers so you don’t know when to come back. We had to beg for these in multiple occasions before we got them. I performed my 90K about 1.5 months ago and “everything was great”, or so it seemed. About close to two weeks ago my timing belt went. During my last two services with them, they didn’t mention to me that it was due for replacement (you can see a patter here with the attention to detail). They take a look and want to charge me $7,000 to change the time belt and aparently one of my valves broke as well. When I protested the amazing sum of money, they took a while, but came up with some story about a “rock” being the culprit. If I could post pictures I would, but it was the saddest excuse I’ve ever gotten just to shift blame and responsibility. It was not a rock and they should have told me about this since they are the “experts” and it’s the sole reason I purchased that service plan, so that “experts” took good care of my car. I always bought and replaced everything they told me to do in other to keep the car in great shape.... rotors, breaks, tires, etc. Anyway, needless to say, I ended up taking the car somewhere else and they charged about half of what the experts were charging. It is a sad ending to a great relationship. One where I would recommend friends to them because of my initial experience with the dealership. I would stay away from their service plan or service department as I don’t think they are honest or trustworthy. It wasn’t until I brought up “hey! You take care of this car!” That they came up with the sad excuse. Not reliable or trustworthy, which are qualities I would think you want in the people servicing your car. More

Great experience! I checked out many reviews on many dealerships before choosing to go the Smythe Volvo and I absolutely feel I made the right decision. From correspon I checked out many reviews on many dealerships before choosing to go the Smythe Volvo and I absolutely feel I made the right decision. From correspondence first over email, then on the phone and finally in person everyone I dealt with was professional, courteous and very importantly not pushy at any point. We hit a few obstacles during the purchase process but all was solved in a very, again professional, satisfactory manner and got me on the road that same day. Both Bob and Kevin were a pleasure to work with and took the time to make sure you would walk out of the dealership feeling well treated and a happy customer. I'm very happy with my purchase and would not hesitate to recommend Smythe Volvo. More
