Dead battery problems Purchased new battery (not at Smythe Volvo) a year ago. Was away from car for 3 months and came home to find battery dead. Doug MacAdam made a house call to check things out for me. I ended up getting battery checked by the place I purchased it, and they charged it and said it was fine. Doug was dubious and requested that I bring car in so he could check the battery. It flunked his test, and his service people installed a new battery right then. I could not be more pleased with Doug's care and attention, and the excellent service. More
