Since picking up my 2023 Subaru Crosstrek in November I've put on an average of 94 miles a day to work and home. I give Sommer’s Subaru 5 stars out of 5. My car shopping and leasing through them was a very pleasant experience, unlike the previous experience I went through at another dealership. It began with an online inquiry which was promptly responded to. I described what I was looking for and was soon contacted by Josh, a sales/leasing consultant who, very quickly and professionally, began to search and provide me with what I was looking for. He showed true professionalism and exceptional service by listening to my concerns, and providing me with what I had asked for, rather than trying to sell me something I did not want or could not afford. He was straight forward with the costs and terms of the lease I was looking to get, and even responded quickly to a barrage of questions I emailed him throughout the process. The finance specialist was likewise very friendly and very professional. He let me know of optional warranty and maintenance add-ons that they offered, but definitely listened to what I was saying and did not try to convince me to purchase extras that I wasn’t interested in. Unlike previous experiences at other dealerships, I was delighted to feel that I was being heard, and that they understood that “no means no” without launching into some long spiel about how much better off I’d be if I sign on to these extra warranty and maintenance deals. There were no last minute surprises, extra costs or fees that were not accurately disclosed from the very beginning. The whole process was quick and painless. Before I left the indoor area where they had my new vehicle prepped and ready to go, I was shown, very thoroughly, how all the gadgets work (this was my first new car and I was unfamiliar with the latest technologies that are put in cars these days). They made sure I knew where all the controls were, how they work, and gave me some pointers for how to get the most out of the features the vehicle offered, even going so far as to connect my smartphone to the car and its Android Auto function without me even having to ask for help with that. My car leasing experience with Sommer’s Subaru was unlike any other I have had. I will definitely be going back to Sommer’s when I’m nearing the end of this lease agreement and looking for another new Subaru. I would recommend Sommer’s to everyone. I did not have to deal with any rude people, pushy sales or finance people, undisclosed “surprise” terms, fees or costs, and no one tried to talk me into something I didn’t want. More dealerships should learn that this is how to get repeat business, as well as new business from customers’ family and friends who will receive strong recommendations based on personal and terrific experiences as I have had working with the friendly team of professionals at Sommer’s Subaru.
