I had called Sheek Ulhaq one of your salesmen letting him know I was interested in leasing a 2021 or 2022 Hyundai Elantra SEL for my daughter because her new Kona engine was shot, and a new one, according to know I was interested in leasing a 2021 or 2022 Hyundai Elantra SEL for my daughter because her new Kona engine was shot, and a new one, according to Hyundai wouldn't be available until 3-4 months and that I had gotten an attorney and we were using the Lemon Law to get out of that car. He told me when my situation was resolved to keep in touch and that right at that moment he didn't have any Elantra's because of the chip shortage. I also told him the amount I would like to put down and how I wanted to keep my monthly payments at no more than $213 dollars a month. I also called the dealer where my daughter's Kona was towed into, Alexander Hyundai of Oxnard. They gave me a price on two cars they had but it was much higher than I was willing to pay. I offered to put 5500 down and the best they could do was $257 dollars a month, if and when I settled with Hyundai Corp. This Monday I got the settlement letter and agreed to the deal, signed and notarized it and sent it back to my attorney. He said it would take at least 2-4 weeks for them to come out and examine the Kona and write me a check. On the same day, I decided to check back with Sheek, because he was so nice and helpful when I originally called him. He was off that day but called me back with fifteen minutes and said he had an incredible deal for me on an Elantra N line if I was able to finalize it that day. It was perfect, because my daughter had complained that the Kona, with 147hp was too slow accelerating. I told him I could put $6500 down out of my pocket and not have to wait for Hyundai to send me my check, if he could allow me to keep the Kona on his lot until they came out to examine it and take possession of it. He said he could arrange it and leave it on his back lot. The only thing standing in the way was that the car was blue, and my daughter had her heart set on a black vehicle. She was in ballet rehearsals and I left her numerous messages. Sheek took a picture of the car for her and when she learned it had 202hp, saw all the extra features, she texted back fantastic and I went right over and we sealed the deal in less than one hour. It was one of the best experiences I've ever had with a dealer. Sheek went out of his way to see we got the car we wanted at the price we were willing to pay. I couldn't be more satisfied. More

I didn't get an update on my car until I called them at 5 pm. They told me they had to keep my car because the diagnostic machine was tied up all day, even though I made an appointment weeks beforehand. I go pm. I got my car back the next morning and all they did was reset the computer. The same vehicle alert has been popping up for weeks. The service advisor did not return my call.
