Excellent customer service! Paul was great, answered all my dorky & idiosyncratic questions, and clearly knew a ton about the car he was selling me. Moreover, this whole process took 3 hours, from the mome my dorky & idiosyncratic questions, and clearly knew a ton about the car he was selling me. For contrast, the last dealership I went to took 8 hours to do the exact same thing. This has definitely been my best experience buying a new car! I hope they're still around in 5 years, when I need to upgrade! More

Got scammed on my birthday!!I'm 6 months pregnant & Got scammed on my birthday!! I'm 6 months pregnant & yesterday was my birthday. As a gift my fiancé decided to purchase me a car. We looked online Got scammed on my birthday!! I'm 6 months pregnant & yesterday was my birthday. As a gift my fiancé decided to purchase me a car. We looked online and found a pre owned mercedes at the South Bay Hyundai. We called and asked to speak with some one in sales and we got Toya. We explained to her that -we liked the price but would need it too drop a few thousand to be able to afford it. Her response was “we’ve had this car for a while and were a Hyundai dealer theres no need for us to have benz on our lot! A few thousand off is easy & It’s Labor Day.” - that we have a mustang with a kbb value of 13k, to which she said as long s its in great condition they’ll honor. - She also confirmed that it is a cpo that came with a certified preowned warranty from mercedes. At this point we let Toya know that its my birthday, I have a dinner planned, I’m pregnant and also I’m located almost 2 hours away in Rialto, CA. & If we come were gonna be expecting the above and we don’t want to be played with. She told us to take her word, cancel the dinner so we don’t miss out on the car and she promises she would never play about the above with a pregnant woman on her bday lol and believe her, we’re doing them a favor taking it. We cancel my birthday dinner and drive to the dealership. Upon arrival we meet with toya and she confirm she can at least take 3k off. Then connects us with Kevin, who takes us on the test drive and will be the actual agent taking care of us. We tell toya will we still get the same deals from him and she says yes. Kevin was awesome but the issues pursued. During the test drive he confirmed that the car was mercedes benz cpo and that he’ll take care of us. After the test drive he inspects the trade in which he says is in excellent condition. We go inside and Kevin handles the numbers etc..comes back with a breakdown paper and explains to us. We would receive 8k instead of the 13k promised on the trade in and there would be no discount on the price of the car, which was a shock to us. After already spending more than 2 hrs driving, 2 hours at the dealer lot and changing birthday plans, naturally this bothered us and we told Kevin to please go back and see what he can do or get toya please. He comes back and their willing to give an extra $500 on the trade in, which is still far off. At this point I ask to talk direct to the manager because this feels like a scam/bait and switch !! Kevin grabs the manager whose name is Jim. We let Jim know what was promised and He is unapologetic in telling us in front of Kevin, “Toya’s job is to get people in here, and she did just that!”. This remark is snarky and weird. He also tells me that the car IS NOT A CERTIFIED PREOWNED THROUGH MERCEDES BENZ!! At this point im shocked! Literally Toya and Kevin just told us it was for the last 4 hours! I tell them my birthday is ruined and Id like what you told me to be honored. Jim basically told us either you take the deal or not and got really smart with my fiance. We were persistent that this isn’t right and Jim said he would try to get us a free warranty and xxxx be back, but not in a nice way. My fiancé says if its not free then he doesn’t want the car since I was told it was under warranty for hours. All of this in front of Kevin. Jim returns and says he got it for us but after my fiancé looks at the numbers he notices that Jim actually just worked it back into the numbers, so its not free! Actually added an extra 5k without telling us! Super dishonest! My fiancé tells him that was super dishonest and he’s never been treated like this. They go back and forth, Jim snatches the paper, says they can’t lose money and storms off. Before he fully leaves Kevin ask for the paper and Jim in a fit, literally tells him NO! I Then ask for another manager and. Jermaine gets involved. He was cool too. While we’re explaining to Jermaine, Jim starts yelling at us, to the point were we have to move. Jim was so emotional. Jermaine does what he can and offers to basically come up 1k on the trade in and could do the warranty for 3.5k. instead of 5k. The car price would stay the same. THIS WAS DEFINITELY A CASE BAIT AND SWITCH, SCAMMING THE CUSTOMER BY SAYING ANYTHING AND CONFIRMING ANYTHING. They told us it came with a mercedes Cpo warranty for 4 hours and it didnt. Instead they lied and then charged us for one. They didn’t honor the kbb value like they said. The car price did not move! ALL LIES WE WERE TOLD TO GET US IN! At This point its after hours, im pregnant and we’ve been here for hours on my birthday without eating so we explain this isn’t right at all but were gonna move forward. We were told we could still talk to the main manager tomorrow. While signing the documents, I read as I go and get to the warranty page. It states that as long as I bring the car to this dealer to get fixed its free, Kevin confirms. After signing I find out that it won’t be free, every time I come it’ll be $250 to have the car seen!! Something I was told different about again! Scammed once again, but what can I do? I already paid but they could at least tell me this, but instead they tell me my warranty invalid because they wont work on benz. Scammed again. The final issue, The car I was sold has a nail in the tire!! Service light is now on! & theres a huge scratch across the rim you couldn’t see in the dark! I have pictures. WE WERE LITERALLY CORNERED INTO A SALE HERE AND FELT BULLIED! I’VE HEARD OF SHADY TACTICS USED FOR CAR SALES BUT I NEVER THOUGHT IT WAS THIS DEEP! DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! OR BE VERY CAREFUL. More
