To all our valued customers and future customers, As we all know, you can't please everyone. Here at SSH our staff strives to provide everyone with a truly exceptional experience in all departments. And we also know that no one is perfect and that mistakes happen. Let's not forget the scammers that look to get something for nothing, lying and crying wolf. With all this being said - please be advised that absolutely nothing, with this customer, was fraudulent- he was not scammed- he wanted to scam us. At time of delivery he, like all customers, was offered to purchase an extended service contract - which he did and included it in his finance agreement (not paying out of pocket). A few days later, he came in to the dealership yelling and screaming " bloody murder" that we made him buy this and the car comes with a lemon law warranty...etc.etc....Yes it does, ( this for a $5000 +/- used vehicle). Not to worry- at his request we submitted a cancellation notice and advised customer it takes several weeks to process. He was demanded a check and interest - As mentioned above- he did not lay out anything it was included in finance contract- so in this case the bank would receive the refund and reduce the balance. Interest???? for what he had the car a few days - really??? Then he proceeded to bash us (my staff and me) on social media, filed a complaint with BBB and attorney general. Also, said we screwed his registration- this was sent but did not have the apt #- mind you customer signed off and acknowledged address. Our corporate attorney communicated with customer to the point where he was frustrated and asked what exactly do you want??? We did what we were supposed to do. This is cowardly- a wanna be tough guy hiding behind his computer. How would he feel if we do the same to him and his employer. Unfortunately, these avenues have been abused and used as weapons!!! Shame on you!! We did our part. Have a wonderful weekend. SSH

It looks like SSH is ashamed into anger now because I exposed their fraud. Facts speak louder than words, not to mention SSH's weasal words. I summarize some key facts as below. 1. SSH charged me $2415 for the service contract whose real cost is only $1142! 2. On 7/25, I revisited SSH, submitted all the required dox and requested cancellation. On 7/31, SSH confirmed via email they already submitted a cancellation notice. However, on 8/15, Gerard sent me another email requesting copies of my cancellation paperwork. The truth is ----- SSH actually didn't process my cancellation request at least by 8/15. 3. AUL accepts cancellation request and dox submitted via FAX. It takes minutes. However, SSH claims they need up to 8 weeks to process. The truth is ----- SSH made up this bad excuse so that they can delay my cancellation until 60 days after purchase, the time window when SSH can get commission from AUL. It's also the time window that SSH's warranty required by lemon law will expire. 4. The cost of service contract and its tax are financed via the loan. The interest accumulates everyday until refunds are received and used against the balance of the loan. 5. SSH acknowledged they must send all the refunds to keybank. However, they separated the refunds into 2 parts, one for contract price sent to keybank while the other for tax sent to me, without any explanation. 5.1) As of today 9/15, Keybank's loan dept in OH has not received the refund check in amount of $2415. SSH mistakenly sent it to a wrong dept in NY. 5.2) As of today, I haven't received the refund check in amount of $214.33. The check was undelivered as SSH negligently missed apt# of my mailing address. 6. SSH charged hidden fee of $79 under the name of Vendor's Single Interest Insurance. But Keybank didn't require this VSI insurance. SSH is not able to provide proof that this insurance was actually purchased. 7. On 8/05 I notified SSH to double check my mailing address has apt#. SSH ignored my reminder, which led to undelivery of my car registration. I had to take half day off without pay on 8/30 and went to DMV to replace my registration. I, list facts. Viewers, you judge. I also have some advice to other consumers: For those SSH's current consumers, you'd better read through all dox word by word. Don't be fooled by their superficial friendliness. Whenever you find $79 for VSI, or any other suspicious surcharges, feel free to file a complaint with Attorney General against SSH. For future car buyers, if you still wanna do business with SSH after reading my review, then good luck to you. Maybe not every employee in SSH is as guileful as Gerard. But at least you should not sign any paperwork before reading through it. Don't finance through SSH, especially with the deceitful Gerard! Last but not least, don't refer to BBB's rating! BBB charges business accredition fees and thus there exists conflict of interest. BBB is not neutral, trustworthy 3rd party anymore.
