Wanted to purchase a used VW, let Benz know of concern that coolant light came on during test drive, he took info to get back with me. He was misguided from a mechanic because he first called to say 'that that coolant light came on during test drive, he took info to get back with me. He was misguided from a mechanic because he first called to say 'that's normal as the car warms up'. Having been a VW owner 3 times prior I know that's wrong and had to push back. It wasn't Benz's fault but shame on that mechanic. I still wanted the auto even though I question all the work done now, you really should have the VW specialists at your dealership work on the used VWs to prevent this. Benz kept with me through my questions and wanted to make sure I was happy by asking for feedback. He was great and I'm happy with my purchase, if not for him I would have never come back after that first call about it being normal for a warning light to come on. I was also frustrated I couldn't charge more that 2k onto my credit card, I get why (merchant fees) but wish I had the option. More
