In for oil change & lube. Worker changed radio station & lost my pre-sets. Had no business even playing my radio. Having drinks & food available is nice. We had received a recall notice of software update & thought we could get it done with the already scheduled service visit. Was disappointed we couldn't. We're 1.5 hours away & will have to make another trip to fix that. Another disappointment is that you charge for tire rotation. We have never had to pay for that before--Sam's club, Sears, WalMart, & tire stores rotate for free when you buy tires from them. More
Would have liked the dealership to tell me when I arrived that they were running 40 minutes behind schedule. I had a scheduled appointment for an oil change and ended up waiting 2.5 hours. I was told my car could not be washed, not sure why? Coffee machine was broken in waiting area. Upon making an appointment with Danielle I was assured I would have a shuttle ride back to my house. The reason that was so important that I get home is I am on supplemental oxygen 24/7. I was wearing my portable concentrator which doesn’t last long. When the shuttle driver arrived and asked for anyone needing a ride I told him I needed to go to my house. I was told I would have to wait until he got people to work then he would come back for me. Tried explaining my situation with oxygen, he didn’t care, just told me again that he would take me after he took the people to work. At that point I had 36 minutes of oxygen left! Sure, I could have brought my charger but again, Danielle assured me I would have a ride at 8:00. At this point I’m not ashamed to say I lost my temper, not at Danielle or the service department but at the (sorry for term) smartass you’ve got driving your shuttle. I live appx 1.3 miles from the dealership, why was it such a problem? Danielle and the lady in the office next to Danielle (I’m assuming Service Mgr) were extremely helpful. The lady in the office actually drove me home herself, and then surprisingly Danielle had my car delivered when they were done. THAT is service above and beyond, your driver is someone that shouldn’t be dealing with the public. He even followed me back to the service area to try arguing with me. That is when I got mad and started raising my voice and told him to get the xxxx away from me. All of this was witnessed by the Service Manager and Danielle walked into the middle of it. They both did a good job of calming me down and rectifying the situation. I would like for you to take a minute and look at the liability this man exposed your dealership to. Iff I had run out of oxygen then in 2 or 3 minutes I would have devolved into hypoxia and would have been carried by ambulance to the ER, all because that driver wanted to show what power he thought he had. Again, kudos to the service department, and your shuttle driver needs some serious counseling on dealing with the public, or directions out the door! In closing, this man has cost your business whatever I will need in the future, because I’ll drive 25 miles up the mountain to Shelor Hyundai in the future. Even though I will drive right by your dealership on the way! This happened on the morning of May 22nd if you even care about it. Eddie L Edwards III More
