Certified Pre Owned Tucson with 100K mile powertrain warranty with excessive oil consumption. Months ago dealership told me they would not do oil consumption test until I paid for a combustion chamber c warranty with excessive oil consumption. Months ago dealership told me they would not do oil consumption test until I paid for a combustion chamber cleaning even though it was not in my maintenance schedule. Months later, when I asked again, they said Hyundai changed the policy and would do the test but would still not do combustion cleaning. Our vehicle used Used 1qrt and 2 oz in 1400 miles, We were told, that was 2oz less than required amount to fix under warranty. Now we are out of warranty and vehicle is using close to 4 quarts between oil changes. We have 2 Hyundai vehicles but will never buy another if this is not fixed. More
