Mr. Ridder, I’m sorry to hear of your regret. Your assertion that we were sexist by withholding water to coerce your wife into agreeing to a purchase is absurd and without merit. The mistakes we made were related to how to structure the purchase with the amount due on the lease, and the resulting internal strife. Your voicemail to me the following day stated that you would like to return the vehicle your wife purchased and pick up your trade in. I had my Director of Finance (not my assistant) reach out to your spouse to arrange for that to occur after receiving your message. When we contacted your wife, she informed us that she did not want to return the vehicle but would proceed with the transaction if we made concessions to the contract which I agreed to, and we thought you were both happy as a result.
