Beverly Since the first time I called I was treated like royalty. I was greeted in a friendly manner, made to feel like I was special. I bought my car in for Since the first time I called I was treated like royalty. I was greeted in a friendly manner, made to feel like I was special. I bought my car in for an oil change and was put in a rental car, because of my work hours. I bought the vehicle in Tampa and they only offered to take me to work but I had to a find a ride back. This time I came in 15 minutes early and was on my to work within an hour. You guys are great! I'm sorry I don't remember the names of the staff that assisted me. More

They had no idea what was wrong with my AC I took it in because the air condition was not working. They said it was the compressor needed to be replaced. Which I had to pay them $100 to diagnos I took it in because the air condition was not working. They said it was the compressor needed to be replaced. Which I had to pay them $100 to diagnose . So they replaced it then charged me over $1,200 for it. When we pick the car up the air condition was still not working. Had to make another appointment to go back in and get them to look at it again. Now they're saying that the evaporator core was leaking and wanted to charge me $1,800 is to replace it. I declined and took it to someone else and they replace the evaporator and I paid $1,000. Did not have to pay $100 for the other people to diagnose the problem and they actually fixed what was wrong with it. I doubt very seriously that the compressor was even messed up. Course I'll never know because I never got to see it I don't know what they did with it. But I'm definitely not happy about the fact that I had to pay all that money and the entire problem wasn't even found until after they started replacing other things. I will never never take a vehicle there that I have to pay for it to get fixed. More
Engine shudder I was there for a service and mentioned to my advisor that there seems to be an issue with the engine. I explained to him that it felt like it was mis I was there for a service and mentioned to my advisor that there seems to be an issue with the engine. I explained to him that it felt like it was missing and it would vibrate the vehicle like you were running over rumble strips. His exact words to me was” That’s the nature of the beast” and that i’ll Get used to it. I questioned him if there was anything that could be done about it and again said “it’s the nature of the beast. Needless to say I wasn’t satisfied with that answer and took it to another Chevy dealer who instantly informed me that there’s an issue with Torque Converters on my vehicle. I left it with them and they corrected the problem. More

Terrible Experience at Stingray Chevrolet It was simply terrible. Needing to edit a week for an oil change when there are ships that you can drive into with no appointment - simply ridiculous. It was simply terrible. Needing to edit a week for an oil change when there are ships that you can drive into with no appointment - simply ridiculous. Then being told, in the sweltering heat of Florida, that a GM defective A/C could in a Tahoe LTZ not be fixed for another week, requiring my wife and children to use a car with no A/C - outrageous! Then forcing my wife with a weeks long appointment to wait 45 minutes before taking care of her, then keeping the car for 2 days and returning it with NO gas and mud-dirty - absolutely anti-customer. Guess buy 12 GM new vehicles in my life and 4 from Stingray meant my wife/family should be harassed. Now, after all the insults and injury - the A/C unit is still not functioning correctly! More
Clearly Taking Advantage I have been taking my car to Stingray for many years. On my most recent visit I was told I needed to have my rear axl seals replaced and it would cost I have been taking my car to Stingray for many years. On my most recent visit I was told I needed to have my rear axl seals replaced and it would cost over $800. I had never done it before with all the repairs I have done at Stingray but I called around and found 3 places that would do the job for just over $400. When I questioned the amount Stingray dropped the price to just over $400. Clearly taking advantage of my loyalty. I will not be taking my car back and have shared this story. More
