Pleased Experienced a transmission issue with my 2011 Outback with 80k miles while our running errands with wife. I was able to get it to Subaru of Jacksonville where I was meet by a friendly service agent. He asked us to give him about 10 minutes to diagnose the problem and would get back with us. About 10 minutes later he came back and said it was a transmission issue and asked me to come to the service desk where he turned me over to a service writer. Expecting an expensive bill, I was quite surprised when he said my transmission was covered under warranty. xxxxxxto Subaru! What made Subaru of Jacksonville stand out is that the service writer offered me a loaner car and my wife and I were back out running our errands in less than 25 minutes! The next day, my Outback was fixed and when I went to turn in and pick up my car, I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I have always said service should be “Quick, Effective and Efficient “. Subaru of Jacksonville certainly meet those expectations and exceeded them with their friendly staff. Well done! More

My new Outback Giovany Lopez approached us with a warm smile. Asked me what I wanted in my new car, listened to what I said and RAN to get the RIGHT car. He gave me Giovany Lopez approached us with a warm smile. Asked me what I wanted in my new car, listened to what I said and RAN to get the RIGHT car. He gave me an easy to understand explanation of the workings of the car during the test drive. He ran and got another car, the Impreza, for us to test drive also. He let us ask the questions and answered every one. Giovany kept us comfortable while waiting for the paper work to be processed. Mike M in finance was very professional and neat. Everything was presented expeditiously and with an easy flow. I had a clear understanding of what I bought and for how much. Then Giovany took us out to my beautifully detailed Outback with a full tank of gas. He took a lot of time to hook up my device to the car and went through another FULL explanation of the dash and all of the buttons and what each does. He gave me his card, inviting me to call with any additional questions. Thanks to Giovany Lopez for making this experience enjoyable. More
Terrible customer service My 2017 Subaru’s electrical system just died one morning 2.5 years after purchase, while still under warranty. We jump started the car and took it to My 2017 Subaru’s electrical system just died one morning 2.5 years after purchase, while still under warranty. We jump started the car and took it to the dealer. They said they checked everything and the battery was fine. It would not start again within a week. This time they said it was the battery. So we had it replaced. It died again within a week and this time could not be jump started. We had it towed to the dealer. The service manager Russell, promised a loaner vehicle on the phone but told us that he did not have one to offer when we arrived. He then said it was a software update issue but he could not update the software if the battery was dead. He also said he did not have another battery to give us and told us to go to Advane Auto Parts to get a new battery for the car. After we gave them a new battery, he installed it and updated the software. We asked him to hold on to the car for a few days to see if the problem was truly resolved and he declined. The car has again died with a week, and we now have to pay $69 to tow it to Subaru of Orange Park to see if they can fix it. Bottom line: The service team at Subaru of Jacksonville has been rude, lazy, and incompetent in this matter and lied to us about the use of a loaner vehicle. We would never buy a car from them and will not return there for service. More

Excellent Service From the moment your arrive for service, even in the fast oil change line, you are treated professionally and courteously. The employees know what th From the moment your arrive for service, even in the fast oil change line, you are treated professionally and courteously. The employees know what they need to know and are always friendly. Paperwork is done quickly and then it is into the waiting room, a room with sodas and water and snacks and coffee, all free. The chairs are comfortable and if there is more to be done on the vehicle, a very friendly employee comes in with an update, and a reasonable estimation of the time needed. Checking out and paying is seamless. I have been in several times and been impressed each time. Anytime you can ask questions and receive thorough and polite answers in a Service Department is outstanding, and well above the norm when accompanied by very pleasant, friendly and professional service personnel. Drive from MIAMI to Jax (400 miles) JUST for THIS dealer! A quick description: I met with two sales managers in South Florida and they were not helpful in trying to meet my maximum payments. I spoke with Dave Baucom at Jacksonville Subaru and asked if it was possible for them to meet my maximum Out The Door payment. He called me back after speaking with his manager (within 10 minutes) and gave me an EVEN LOWER PRICE!!! I don't know many dealers that offer a lower price than what you suggest. Dave B was friendly, very quick to get back to me with updates, and even checked in a few days after to ask me how I was liking my new Subaru Crosstrek. When I was trading in my car, Dave helped my friend and I take everything out and put in the truck. He also helped me with the new Subaru and had it detailed right before I got there. It was quick, it was easy and it was a great experience! If you ever go to this dealer, ask for Dave B! This dealer is the best dealer (of all car companies) I have ever been to! Ps. I never write reviews, but I am for this because it was an all-around impressive experience. More
