Purchase of a new Subaru Outback on 3/29/2014 I initially selected this dealership as it is very close to where I live and it was also a participant in the USAA vehicle purchase program. I received a courtesy email from Mr. Josh Strickland welcoming me to their store and was looking forward to assisting me in making my selection and purchase. I arrived on Friday, 3/28/2014 about fifteen minutes before I was expected and was met by Mr. Josh Strickland as he recognized me based on his awareness of the vehicle I intended to trade, a 1985 300D Mercedes Benz which I purchased new almost twenty-nine years ago. He was very cordial and being I knew (my son-in-law has a Subaru Outback purchased in Tennessee) exactly what I wanted, he immediately escorted me to two vehicles which met the description of what I wanted. He demonstrated an extensive knowledge of his vehicles which confirmed what I already knew about the Outback. We then proceeded to his office and after explaining the personal amenities available we quickly negotiated the details to arrange for an appraisal of my vehicle to trade. I was very pleased with the manner in which my appraisal was conducted as the vehicle and manager were in view at all times and the allowance for my vehicles was reasonable. With no haggling the numbers were quickly worked out and I told Josh that I would call him later on Friday as I had to complete an errand for my wife (she has a heart condition) and would call him later. Late Friday evening I talked with Josh and we made arrangements for me to come back at 2:00 PM on Saturday, 3/29/2014 to complete paperwork and pickup my vehicle. When I arrived on Saturday Josh and his manager along with title clerk had everything in order and we expeditiously completed the process and my vehicle was ready to drive away. Being 73 years old, I have purchased several new vehicles and also having personal experience in the vehicle sales area, my expectations were met to the fullest. Frank was really great. He really listened to what I was looking for and did not try to sell me anything I wasn't looking for or that was out of my price range. He did well to bring the price down to what I looking for and did not try to sell me anything I wasn't looking for or that was out of my price range.
