We were blind-sighted with over priced diagnostic costs. When I asked cashier, she was either untrained or unwilling to talk about it with me. I made a comment about the price (and in no way was I rude or inappropriate) and her response to me was where the exit was. Outside of a few dollars… customers should be told what the cost of diagnostic would be. In this example… I said my hatch door was mechanically broken. They then said they would look at it and charged me $179 to tell me it was mechanically broken. Unbelievable. Not only am I don’t with Sutton ford, I am leaving ford altogether. My front end was also needs work. I told them it was looked at at another ford dealer. Their systems don’t talk. I just wanted price to fix. Instead they charged me another $90, to tell me what I already knew. Why go to a dealer anymore? More
