My 2023 Hyundai Palisade was towed to Tamiami Hyundai on Monday, 5/5/2026, under Hyundai warranty, as the vehicle had an alternator failure and was completely disabled. Tamiami Hyundai did not even pull th Monday, 5/5/2026, under Hyundai warranty, as the vehicle had an alternator failure and was completely disabled. Tamiami Hyundai did not even pull the vehicle in for inspection for a full week. I made numerous calls to the dealership for an update on their progress during that week and received no information or return calls until the work was completed a week later. Upon arrival to retrieve the vehicle, I was surprised by an invoice for items that I did not authorize. In addition, I was told the rental vehicle that was to be covered as a loaner didn't qualify for reimbursement, as I rented it from the wrong Enterprise location. (When I was told that to be eligible for reimbursement, I must rent from Enterprise, but no location requirement was given.) After seeking management's input, most of these issues were resolved. However, the experience was infuriating and not what I would call anything but very poor customer service from beginning to end. Note: I currently own 7 Hyundais and have owned others. I have been very happy with the vehicles on the whole. But Tamiami Hyundai is off my list as a preferred provider due to their inferior service department. More
