The lack of honesty and integrity in the complaint is best exemplified by the falsehood about a loaner/rental car. The customer was provided a loaner cat at NO CHARGE on 12/14/17. The loaner vehicle was returned on 12/22/17. THERE WAS NO CHARGE FOR THE VEHICLE. The dealership was under no obligation to provide a loaner car. The vehicle was new and purchased at another dealership. Also there was no threat. Upon receiving a two star review we reviewed the customers' service with our service team and they could not identify any failure on our part. In fact, the service adviser Chris was dismayed at the review because he felt he went above and beyond to satisfy the customer. As is our policy, we called the customer to inquire about the failure and two star review so that we could improve our process as may be necessary. The customer refused and hung up the phone. At this point the dealership made the business decision and alerted the customer that we would not accept his vehicle for any future service. This was a statement of fact and not a threat. We also asked the customer to contact us to further review the experience and reconsider our position on any future service.

Dear Stephen, Thank you for writing the review because it’s important you (and all readers of this review) understand that there is a big difference between a trade in and an accommodation. We did NOT purchase or take possession of your vehicle but rather gave you a check, as an accommodation, to fully cover your remaining lease payments. In fact, the Buyer’s Order clearly reads in large legible handwriting: “Taking Care of remaining lease payments… NOT Responsible for Dispu, Damage, or over mileage.” These words are hard to miss as they appear just under the monthly lease payment amount. When you called us a few weeks ago you explained that you were being charged by your leasing company for excess wear and excess mileage. Clearly this was between you and the leasing company and we are sorry to hear that you incurred costs beyond the monthly payments due. We encourage you to review the contract you had with the leasing company to make sure those charges are at least in keeping with the predetermined excess mileage charge from when you leased the vehicle from them. To avoid a repeat when you return your vehicle to us, please keep your mileage under control and repair any unusual damage.
