Stay away from Gino and the service dept. where he "operates." His sales antics are condoned and the customer be damned. I learned a costly lesson and will NEVER go back. New digs doesn't make it better. It just makes the dealership more ruthless and hungry to make a buck any way it can. More

I have purchased several vehicles from this dealer over the last 20 years, and have always been very satisfied with the service and the sales department. Recently leased a new Prius, and was very pleased the last 20 years, and have always been very satisfied with the service and the sales department. There was no pressure from my salesperson John, or Mike in the finance department. They made sure I was well educated on both options. I have had the car in for oil changes and the regular maintenance, and have been treated with respect and courtesy by everyone in the service department. Would (and have) sent friends and family to see the great people at Pappas. More

I bought 2 cars from there and also have service performed on both vehicles there. I would rather have technicians trained to work on my vehicles than non qualified individuals like some of the chai performed on both vehicles there. In my experience, most car dealers in the St Louis area attempt to sell cars by letting you drive over a small local course with the sales person continually talking in your ear, followed by a meeting with attempt to sell cars by letting you drive over a small local course with the sales person continually talking in your ear, followed by a meeting with a more senior manager who tells you how lucky you are to be dealing with them. This is followed by having to return the next day to try and get a quote for your trade in as the man who can make a decision is usually not there. Trade in's seem to be handled by a different group of people and are invariably worth much less than the trade guides would suggest. It was therefore a nice change to go to Pappas Toyota and meet with Jessica Vargas and Megan Prinzi and be given the keys to a couple of cars and be sent off to try them without all of this hassle. I did have to return the next day to get a price for my trade, but it was a good price and was seen as part of the overall deal and the negotiations were good humoured and I came away feeling I had been fairly treated. I also have an old Toyota MR 2 and so can speak well of the service and repair department. Overall, I will buy from Pappas again and would recommend them for sales and service. More

I had a great experience at Pappas. They are so easy to get to and they have a great selection. Everyone is so easy to work with I and got a great price on my new Camry. Mechanics are unreliable and service department does not to work with you. They are not about saving the customer money. When you have a toyota that has a recall, they do not fix the recalls nor do they to work with you. They are not about saving the customer money. When you have a toyota that has a recall, they do not fix the recalls nor do they tell you your vehicle had a recall. They fix a partial problem and then try to tell you that you were at fault and not the mechanic. They do not want to own up to their mistakes. They treat the customer as if they were an idiot! I would not recommend this dealer ship to anyone! More

This is one of worst customer experience I ever had on a search for buying a car at a dealership. When did I had this ? Just now few minutes before. We waited for close to 3 hrs to experience that. We asked for a price match and they went back and said its do-able and then came back with presumed conditions that we were college graduate and said they cant do it as they found out that we cant qualify. My wife and I have purchased at least four cars from Pappas Toyota over the last 8-10 years and have always been treated the best of any dealer we've ever dealt with. We always work with Tim Alloway (don't remember if that's how his name is spelled) in the used car area. He's been courteous and given us what I've thought was a fair price on the purchase and trade-in sides of our transactions. He's also put up with me coming by every year or so to see if what I'm looking for has dropped into my price range yet. We've worked with Angelo (sorry if I butchered that one too) who's also been very good. The vehicles we've bought included a 1998 Avalon, 2001 Camry, 1997 Mountaineer, and 1997 Mercury Sable, and maybe more I can't remember. The American cars have been good; the Toyotas great. They've quickly handled repairs needed with the vehicles to get them off the lot in good condition. Service has been good too. One thing that always spoke very well for the business is the longevity of their employees. I've seen the same faces and names for many years. More

Associates were not very personable. They never remembered who I was or what I was there for. They took an exceptionally long time for any service.
