STAY FAR AWAY FROM TOWN & COUNTRY JEEP IN LEVITTOWN. I've never had a worse experience with a dealer after 25 years of buying and leasing cars. Completely unprofessional, horrible attitude, and rude would be never had a worse experience with a dealer after 25 years of buying and leasing cars. Completely unprofessional, horrible attitude, and rude would be underestimating these people. I went in to lease a car and was working with Casondra Dirusso. After finding the car, we began negotiating. I asked for a deal with zero down on the lease, and she gave me quotes and said I needed to come up with $4000 plus the first month's payment, DMV, and other fees. I literally had to ask for a breakdown of the $4000 in fees 3 times before she finally broke them down to me only to find that there was $1218 in there to lower the payment when I specifically said quote me payments with $0 down. Then after I agreed to the $1218 down, she sent me a purchase order with another $320 in fees, excluding the DMV fees, which were going to be more on top of that. Obviously, I know DMV and state fees/taxes, bank fees are unavoidable, so I'm not disputing those. She claimed that $320 was for extra state fees, but it clearly said it was for added dealer profit on the contract. But after telling her to be transparent with me on the breakdown, she decided to lie to me and slip in another $320 on top of the $1218 from before. So that's twice that she beat around the bush with me and surprised me with new fees when she should have been upfront and disclosed everything at the start. In the end, I agreed to all of these fees because I need the car and just wanted to get it over with. Guess what? Then they give me some canned response saying they won't do business with me after I agreed to all their fees and signed the purchase order! So after 3 days of wasted time negotiating with them and agreeing to all of their fees, Casondra decided that because I read contracts, negotiate and want to know what fees I'm being charged, she won't do business with me. In other words, I wasn't an easy enough mark for her. I then decided to contact Mike Perez, the general sales manager at the dealership, to see why Casondra had killed the deal after signing the purchase order with all the fees agreed to. He then gave me a diplomatic/canned response saying that I'd be better served to work with another dealership because they couldn't make me happy. I said I'm happy with the deal as-is and wanted to move forward; otherwise, I wouldn't have signed the purchase agreement with all the fees they wanted. Speaking to a wall would have been more productive. My only thoughts were that they probably had other surprises lined up for me on the actual lease, and they couldn't give me what they quoted me, so that was their way of sparing us both any further time wasted. Pretty shady way to do business, but I'm sure some people don't negotiate and just pay whatever they charge. Long story short, if you want a transparent deal and to be treated with respect, DO NOT purchase or lease a vehicle from Town & Country Jeep. After reading the other reviews on here, their service department also seems pretty terrible. If you ever wondered why car dealers have such a bad reputation, Town & Country Jeep in Levittown should be your first stop. P.S. watch them reply with some nonsense like, "Here at town and country jeep we strive to satisfy all our customers blah blah blah" don't fall for it. They probably have someone sit there and copy/paste some canned response for all their bad reviews. More
Our experience was excellent from start to finish! We were welcomed into the showroom and were encouraged to take our time and really look around. We never felt pressured into purchasing a vehicle. Our salesman, Kent, was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. We fairly negotiated a price and the finance team did their best to find us the best interest rate. All necessary paperwork for the DMV and insurance company was completed with ease thanks to Kent. Our car was ready for us at the promised time. The entire process was an enjoyable and exciting experience! Highly recommend! More
