Professional and no nonsense. Farley was great to work with, as was Boris. This was my 3rd time dealing with Town East Ford and each time has been a good experience. Everyone at Town East and in particular my sales rep, Kevin, were great to work with. All were very responsive and friendly. I got a the exact vehicle I wanted for a fair price. Everything was very smooth and easy. I never felt too pressured and felt like all my needs were met. I never felt too pressured and felt like all my needs were met. More
I’m sure there’s no point in posting a complaint however, the service here was terrible. Brought my car in for an oil change and 2 recalls to be fixed. I requested “the works” oil change which includes tire the service here was terrible. Brought my car in for an oil change and 2 recalls to be fixed. I requested “the works” oil change which includes tire rotation but I wanted full synthetic instead. Apparently that ugrade is impossible so I was told it would be $129 for the oil change and $22 for the tire rotation. Well, it was $200 instead somehow. That I can almost deal with what really pisses me off is I brought my car in to address 2 recalls. I brought it in around 745am to give plenty of time. Around 11am I get a voicemail saying it’s done… I called back multiple times to make sure the recalls were handled but no one answered. So when I arrive after being shuffled around from the cashier to another service advisor to service advisor since mine was on lunch im finally told “well of course they’re not done you need to drop it off in the morning and it takes all day”. I inform him that I had that’s why I was there at 745am. This response was met with well I don’t know she didn’t put it on the ticket plus they're not that important of recalls…. This shows total disregard for people’s time in my opinion. Finally and this might be nitpicking but why the xxxx would someone leave a greasy wheel lock tool in the passenger seat when in the glove box WHERE THEY GOT IT is a plastic case for it. Just a complete disregard for people’s stuff. Town East Ford already left a bad taste in my mouth when I was shopping for my current car between all their required add ons and saying I couldn’t test drive a vehicle until they did a write up with me. Now having dealt with their terrible service department too I will never be coming back here. More
DO NOT TRUST! very shady and dishonest dealership. not to mention staff is disrespectful. After looking at a vehicle they told us they couldn’t agree to our price, very shady and dishonest dealership. not to mention staff is disrespectful. After looking at a vehicle they told us they couldn’t agree to our price, that they didn’t even have $100 to take off as wiggle room. later that evening they called and agreed to our price if we’d come tomorrow. we said okay we will be there. drove back the next day (2.5hrs). as we’re filling out paperwork, they run mine and my husbands credit (mind you at this point we’ve offered a deposit 3x and they said it wasn’t necessary we were doing paperwork). we even initially wanted to pay cash for the car but they said finance helps them and I was ok with it as I needed a few months of payments to help my credit after my identity got stolen. about 2 min after they hit both our credits they came in and said sorry another guy has agreed to buy the car so it’s a done deal. laughed when we expressed our frustration. come to find out the other people hadn’t even started on the paperwork but wanted to buy the extended warranty so they lied to us to make the extra dollar. VERY poor business practices. in the end I’m so thankful we didn’t get the car as i see if that’s the moral ground this business runs off- I wouldn’t trust that any car on their lot is sound and listed as they say. especially since I’ve now read many reviews stating they have a long known reputation for business like this. Worst experience of my 60 years of car buying. Sales managers were rude, sold a car out from under me after price was agreed on and credit was approved. In my 45 years as a professional business p Sales managers were rude, sold a car out from under me after price was agreed on and credit was approved. In my 45 years as a professional business person I have never dealt with a dealership and or any customers as poorly at this dealership handled my potential purchase. I plan on contacting the Bureau of Consumer Protection, and the Better Business Bureau in my area to report Town East Ford unethical dealings. Will also be seeking legal advice on how to best damage the dealership already scared reputation. Best recommendations is to stay as far away from Town East Ford as possible. More
