Honestly, I had written off Toyota after visiting another dealership in south Austin. I was looking for a hybrid, and a friend encouraged me to go to Cedar Park Toyota instead. This is at least a 45 minut dealership in south Austin. I was looking for a hybrid, and a friend encouraged me to go to Cedar Park Toyota instead. This is at least a 45 minute drive for us, but IT WAS WELL WORTH IT!!! We met Kevin VonKahle at the door and instantly hit it off. My wife and I spent 3 hours test driving different models of hybrids till we narrowed it down to 2. Over all we had narrowed our search to 4 vehicles, 2 Toyotas, and 2 others. After test driving the others, we narrowed it down to 1, but the other dealership brand couldn't even come close to the price Kevin and his manager sent me the next morning. So we went back up the next day to see Kevin. My wife and I narrowed it down to the Venza, and after looking at the 2 models, and a bit of negotiation, we wound up with a 2024 Venza LE and drove it home that night. First of all, Kevin was extremely knowledgeable on the cars on the lot, something we noticed lacking on the dozen dealerships we visited. Second, his personality was amazing to be around! NOT PUSHY! Friendly! And he went out of his way to make sure my wife and I had everything we needed to make the decision on a new Toyota, so much so that I called his manager after the first visit and told him Toyota or not, that was the best car dealership visit I had ever had. Obviously, it wound up Toyota and Kevin and his team were great to work with. Last, I walked in with financing in hand from my credit union I had been with for decades. Cedar Park Toyota was able to beat that rate and save me even more money. More
