The service advisor was genuinely interested in understanding the problem I brought my car in for. I had expected the technician would have diagnosed the problem following day (Friday) but the ins understanding the problem I brought my car in for. But the car had an open recall notice and she had the technician complete the repair without making me call for a separate appointment. When I told the service advisor I needed my car for Sunday she arranged for me to take the car home Saturday while we wait for Toyota to verify coverage under extended service agreement. When I brought the car back for the repair I originally needed, the car was ready to take home early that afternoon. More
There was a little hiccup in the beginning: I went to the dealership to receive a copy of my vehicle's service history, and there was a female employee who told me that might not be possible, because Toyota dealership to receive a copy of my vehicle's service history, and there was a female employee who told me that might not be possible, because Toyota of Lancaster recently switched to a new system called Tekion. I corrected her by informing her I had already spoken with someone that morning who stated that would not be an issue, and reassured me that my entire service history was available, and I would be able to receive a printout in-person at the dealership. After clearing that up, I was introduced to a manager who provided me excellent service. He was able to switch between the two systems to e-mail me a record of my complete service history. I did have to check for duplicates, but he was kind and patient enough to cooperate with me and provide me the missing record upon request. I really appreciate the manager's time, patience, and assistance. One issue that I have with previous service experiences I've had there is with my vehicle's brakes. I've mentioned numerous times to several employees that my brakes sound funny when I come to a sudden stop. There's also something wrong with the sensor, because it tends to go off when I'm driving downhill, and there's a curve with vehicles parked on the side. The employees would tell me that the sound I was hearing seemed normal, and I never felt like they were taking my concerns seriously. More

My car was not completed by the time that it was promised. I spent too many hours waiting for my car's brakes to be completed. Erik was very helpful and didn't give up until he figured out why my car wouldn't periodically start. I dropped my car off by 8:00 am and I was told that it will be ready by afternoon around 33:00- 4:00 pm after that they send me a text message at 11;30 am that my car was ready to pick it up.
