My wife & I needed to find a replacement for our 11 year old Toyota Sienna which we bought at Toyota of Naperville. Having been happy customers we decided to start our search there as well and met Bri year old Toyota Sienna which we bought at Toyota of Naperville. Having been happy customers we decided to start our search there as well and met Brian McGinley who helped us to find exactly what we wanted. I can't say enough about Brian, he was exactly the kind of Sales Professional that you would hope for. Very friendly, no pressure, very responsive, and just an all around pleasure to work with. His Sales Managers also helped to make the overall experience a very positive one for us. In the end, we took posession of a wonderful CPO 2011 RAV4 which we absolutely love! Our experience there was so positive that the next month we found ourselves coming right back to Brian and Toyota of Naperville again to purchase a replacement for our 12 year old 4-door sedan. Will have more to say about that in another review for that transaction but suffice it to say that Brian came through in flying colors again as we just took posession of CPO 2012 Camry and couldn't be happier. Anyway, just wanted to share what our experience has been and give a shout out for Brian for making it such a positive one. More
My wife and I worked initially with Harvey and then returned about two weeks later and worked with Bill because Harvey was on vacation. Both Bill and Harvey were extremely knowledgeable and friendly, but seemed to know when to leave us alone and when to offer unsolicited information. They never applied any pressure - no hard sell - which we truly appreciated. The only negative part of the experience for us was during the finalizing the deal stage. If you feel it is important to try to sell things like extra protection packages and coverages/warranties that should be brought up before the final price and negotiations are completed. It is kind of a sleazy bate and switch type tactic to get someone to agree to a price and then try to pressure them into buying extras after the fact that may push the overall deal over someones price comfort range. The method that Dave in particular used and the pressure he applied trying to 'guilt' me into buying some of the extras was a bit of a turn off. Again overall, very happy with the experience and the product. The final steps could simply be handled in a little more upfront fashion in my opinion. More
