I had my Toyota Highlander serviced today, 4. 17.26, and I want to express my sincere appreciation for Mr. Kawa. I took my car in for a standard recall, after leaving and getting 20 miles down the road, my dashboard suddenly alerted of me several malfunctions. I unfortunately had to turn around and go all the way back, getting 20 miles down the road, my dashboard suddenly alerted of me several malfunctions. I unfortunately had to turn around and go all the way back, when I got back they told me there was nothing wrong with my car and take a picture a next time. So once again I left, 20 miles down the road again the same alarms went off. This time I’m not turning around because I’ve already spent 5 hours there and wasted my fuel and time. So I called and they said to come back the next day so I can get a rental. I discussed with them how inconvenient this was due to me living an hour away, the service advisor at one point said “I’m not sure why’d you come to rockwall to get it serviced” which wasn’t helpful, only unnecessary. I asked if I could take it to another dealership closer and they said yes but couldn’t guarantee me a rental. After finally speaking to the service manager, Jordan, he provided me with a helpful solution of delivering my car to me and they returned it with a full tank. So while I do appreciate that, there were a few more negative experiences I want to address. 1) I never had any problems with my car until the day they fixed the recall. 2) after they worked on my car, suddenly I have so many malfunctions 3) they claimed it was a “coincidence” that those malfunctions happened and proceeded to charge me for the damage done while they were working on it. The service advisor literally said they “screwed it up”. 3) not only did they charge me $50 for something THEY damaged, they didn’t even tell me until after the work was done. So they did unauthorized work that they knew would cost me, instead of telling me and letting me decide if I wanted to pay it. 4) they removed my dash cam and replaced it with cheap double sided tape and now every single time I get in my car, the dash cam is hanging off and I have to reattach it. I’m grateful for their attempts to make it right but there was a lot of poor customer service that absolutely needed to be addressed. More

I had a very frustrating experience with Toyota of Rockwall and feel it’s important to share. I brought my 2013 Tundra in for a check engine light and drivability issues. I was advised to replace t Rockwall and feel it’s important to share. I brought my 2013 Tundra in for a check engine light and drivability issues. I was advised to replace the air injection valve, which I approved and paid for. However, shortly after getting my truck back, the same issue returned, meaning the repair did not resolve the problem. After keeping my vehicle for an extended period, I was then told my catalytic converter needed to be replaced for around $6,000. When I asked for proof, I was only provided a scan showing the catalyst status as “incomplete,” not failed. Despite this, they still recommended the replacement and even suggested additional paid testing to confirm it. Concerned with the diagnosis, I took my truck to another mechanic. The issue was properly diagnosed and fixed for $1,130, without replacing the catalytic converter. My truck is now running perfectly. This experience raised serious concerns about the accuracy of their diagnostics and the recommendation of costly repairs without clear confirmation. I would strongly encourage anyone to get a second opinion before approving major repairs here. More

I've been to various Lexus service centers in California, Idaho, Texas an enough to say how very pleased and impressed I am with Toyota of Rockwall. I've been to various Lexus service centers in California, Idaho, Texas and a few other places and NONE of them hold a candle to this place. The very BEST is inadequate to describe the personnel, the service, the attention to detail, and the concern and care for the customer. If only all businesses would operate this way the world would be a much better place. My Service Advisor today was Mick and he is what every employer hopes for and every customer looks for. Toyota of Rockwell - THANK YOU for your hospitality, your attention to detail, and your genuine desire to provide the best possible service to your customers. More
